I am happy to get my chips in there, sometimes they will have the ten but more often with the way the pre-flop betting went they will have AK, KK, QQ or a middle pair or the diamond draw. In all of those cases you are ahead and can feel content with the push.

It's the most embarassing thing that happens in poker freerolls. Many of players play bingo, not poker, because they had nothing to lose. So the lesson could be trying to avoid playing all-in unless you're sure you have the best hand or you are sure that the opponent will fold. I think, also he was sure that you hadn't tens, so he had one pair and hit all-in.
