party poker - 20000/40000 NL (8 max) - Holdem - 6 players

UTG: 40.14 BB (VPIP: 40.00, PFR: 20.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, hands: 5)
MP: 23.38 BB (VPIP: 29.17, PFR: 25.71, 3Bet Preflop: 16.67, Hands: 72)
CO: 4.96 BB (VPIP: 20.00, PFR: 0.00, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 5)
BTN: 52.6 BB (VPIP: 42.86, PFR: 23.81, 3Bet Preflop: 12.50, Hands: 21)
SB: 43.45 BB (VPIP: 22.41, PFR: 16.36, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 58)
Hero (BB): 37.73 BB

6 players post ante of 0.13 BB, SB posts SB 0.5 BB, Hero posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 2.25 BB) Hero has Jd Ad

UTG raises to 2.5 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, Hero calls 1.5 BB

Flop: (6.25 BB, 2 players) 6c 5d 7h
Hero checks, UTG bets 2.5 BB, Hero raises to 6.26 BB, UTG calls 3.76 BB

Turn: (18.76 BB, 2 players) Kd
Hero bets 7.18 BB, UTG calls 7.18 BB

River: (33.13 BB, 2 players) 5c
Hero ?

I think I over play this hand, I lost a lot of chips, my toughs as played:

flop, that board hits mostly my range, that's why I decided to check raise, I feel now that the size is small. What you think?

turn, I think this is a great card to barrel, give me equity and I continue with my story, straights, sets, two pairs. I'm saying, not afraid of AK or over pairs, definitely villains range at this point. Good or bad barrel?

river, bluff or give up the hand? I think is time to shove, finish to tell the story.

Thank you for posting.

We have to think about villain's thinking from villains point of view not ours. Will this villain think you are raising with 87 76. If so why would this villain ever fold AA or AK on this runout?

If the villain is a calling station villain is never folding.
If the villain sees your turn bet as weak villain is not folding. Was your turn bet the same size as you would bet with the hands you are representing?

If you think this villain puts you on the hands you are representing and still calls the K turn would this villain not have a hand stronger than one pair?

Hope this helps.
