Dont worry about it too much, just because you sometimes lose doesnt mean you did something wrong.

5 of 7 in chips.....probably an easy call there not knowing stack size, opponent possible shove range, blind level, pay scale, etc.

I just keep losing in these situations and it kills your BR cause the micro tourneys it is only profitable if you make top 3 most of the time so i still dobt have a profitable ROI, i hear everyone say if you make the right plays it will equal out in the long run but it really isnt for me

With respect to your answer to this particular spot your answer is in bold on your post.

You make itm and ft if you were unlucky you would bust early in tournaments with these situations so you are running good just not running good late in tournaments. Just keep making the right decisions and success will come. Be thankful for making the ITM and final tables remember there are many players who go broke with these situations early in tournaments and do not make any cash.

Well, if prize is a pressure on you, and the table was quite aggressive, you must to fold this hand. But if you want to get a first place you did it right.

No doubt when this starts to recur, it seems that we are playing the wrong way, but I believe that poker is a lot more skill, a game totally linked to mathematical values, and finally linked to luck, so I believe the same As there is a percentage that already comes with a pair in the game that is 5.5%, there is also the percentage of the villain being with an ace hit on the flop, the turn or the river.

So, I believe that maintaining the style of play and your choosing based on percentages will always be the best choice.

So that's it, GL on the tables !!!

Yeah , as NCDaddy said , in that case things were much easier cause you were 5 out of 7 , so you were going to double your stack . Personally , I hate QQ , but if it's a case like this , easy call .
And yes , you are right , many times we see KKvAA, QQvAJ , etc and we lose , you can't really do anything about it , you keep on playing online . I remember sb on a thread saying because of these ''unlucky'' results that he felt were not close to the real statistical odds , even with AA , he was saying he wasn't winning 80% with AA but much less , on coin flips the odds were less than what they shoul be , he prefered folding even AA on the bubble to make it in the money (can't remember if he said that for the pre FT bubble as well ) . And his tournament results were very good . I , personally , try to see the flop with QQ and KK , but if I have to call all in or shove , my stack , compared to the other's and average , is what I take into consideration (and with QQ only I want-position ) .

As many others stated, this is an easy call. You seem to be really unlucky right now, but the worse thing that could happen is you start playing bad. Don't let this affect your game.

Just a bad luck. As much as final tables you are playing, as much you will improve in the final ranks with such hands. You are clear favorite here and you must continue to play like that if you meet once again such situation.

I was busted with better chances on the same situation - all in by button, who just intends to steal, but is turning the odds around.

you play well and got unlucky. with queens against aj you are 70%- 30% ahead so in most cases you will end up winning the hand. also villain range is much wider on the button so calling is the best choice here.

Well, you need to put way more info there for me to be able to tell what on earth is going on here. From what I can tell, I think that it was an obvious call. If you have 70% in any normal situation in an all in you should be happy. Don't ever fall into the trap of thinking 'I'm way too unlucky so I shouldn't do X'. Even if you are have recently got more unlucky, 70% is 70%. Past performance is obviously completely inconsequential.

Also, just remember that losing a 70% vs 30% is actually not that unlucky. It happens almost 1 in 3 times...

Hope that sort of helps...

When the math catches up. You will profit for months. Numbers don't lie. The problems you are having are great to have. Doesn't seem that way. However, read around in here and see how good you actually have it. Glass is always half full!

You played it correctly. I know it stings, with you being so close to the top 3 spots. However, you can't be results oriented, but continue to play well and be more process oriented. If you keep playing well, your scores will come!

good luck

I have to believe this. I got really in to poker in January of this year. I play mostly MTT. I ran pretty good for a newbie. Then variance reared it ugly head. Every other tourney I was busting out with 80%'ers. You know your running bad when you gii with AA vs A10o and they hit the str to beat your 91%'er(the calc on my phone said 91%, hope that's right). I was playing on BCP with a small stake of co-workers cash, with mine, so I kept a log. I had pic after pic saved where I had busted out with 70%'ers or better. Then I remembered what CC's very own PO said, "No one gives a Shit about your bad beats". Lol. So I deleted them all and tried to quit being so results orientated. I am trying to feel good about losing those hands, knowing that I did the correct play. But I understand your feelings playing with a smaller BR. I just hope I don't go broke before the math kicks in. Lol. I've been busy the last couple of weeks so I haven't played as much. But the last 2 tourneys I gii bad three times and sucked out on all 3, so maybe it's getting better. So keep on keeping on, and try to take those beats with a grain of salt. Have a good un!

Thanks for all the feedback guys, i am going to keep on grinding, the CC freeroll tuesday night gave me a little bit of a BR to work with again after all the ugly hits i was taking even though i was playing ok, i say ok because i went back and reviewed a cpl more HH of the tourneys and recognized some spots i have been missing, but anyway with the little i won in the FR i was able to build up a small BR again and hopefully can run it up and get in a position to play more low to medium stakes tourneys where payouts are a little juicier but variance becomes a little higher as well.

If you're on the final table 7-handed and trying to get away from QQ pre-flop...you're going to have a problem winning tournys in the future. You're favored in most situations..let it ride.

Nothing you can do about it. I play this game Black Desert online. To enhance your gear past a certain level it gets down to 23% chance of success and 13% chance of success. They constantly throw around the term RNG(random number generator). When you fail your gear goes down back a step and is a massive hit to your progression. So when someone fails that 13% chance 10 times in a row they seem to throw a fit and it has made many a people just quit altogether. However having played poker I can attest it's not RNG that I've had runs in a poker where I have that 80% + chance of winning 20 times in a row and every single time I get drawed on. It's going to happen when you are looking at these types of odds.

If you were #2 in chips holding 40% of the entire chips left in the tourney and it was #1 in chips that was holding 50% of the chips left in tournament that pushed you all in....and the other 5 combined only had 10% of said chips that's about the only time it would be a bad play to call with QQ.
