I played in one of these the other day. and was so frustrated afterwards I decided to wait awhile before going back to see if I should even be in this.

I like to play on betcoin part of WPN network jump into this Satelite on day 2 a week or so ago. There are an insane number of late reg available for this so getting in early makes for a long road. But I am ready for that. What I was not ready for was a couple players on my table went all in on every single hand 20-30+ in a row. If knocked out simply rebuy and get back in immediately. I watched as one got knocked out twice rebought then went on a run and was soon 5x and then 10x chip stack of anyone at the table and he did not let up. I only lasted one rebuy before I gave up not having the BR to continue if I wanted to play other games or tourneys on the site.

Initially I figured this is simply crazy but now I am thinking maybe not? Perhaps I am missing something so I looked at if this way

@ 50 rebuys (just picking a random number) that is roughly $110 for a $500 ticket and if he does not need to rebuy 50x, even better

My question though is does this really make sense from a strategy point of view. If you rebuy enough and build a stack and continue pushing everyone all in. What are the chances you will build a stack this way? But I saw him rebuy at 3-5x before he started on a run. Of course he was winning with rags and that won't be sustainable but if he gets to a point where he or she is so much ahead in chips the losses at some point barely make a difference as you knock out people like myself only willing to rebuy a handful of times if that.

So the short question is is this just nuts or is this a valid R/A strategy?

Thanks in advance for your input.

p.s. I prefer freezouts!!! :D:D:D

I see players making the same plays all the time. I wouldn't suggest playing every hand allin preflop, but if your bankroll permits the gamble than it could have a positive afffect. To use that method I would want at least 500-1000 buyins for that tournament, this way the rebuys and add-on don't put the entire bankroll at risk.
