Good night guys,
I'm new here on the forum and started playing poker is about 2 months, so I'm still in the learning process, reading a lot and watching video lessons, etc.
Today I spent two situations where I was eliminated in micro tournaments ($ 0.10 and $ 0.25) and would like your help to find out the best way to play in these situations.
The tournament was with blinds of 100/200 without prior and I was with 9300 chips
In the first situation I was 6:07 off in the big blind position. Most of the table folded and left over the button and the small blind. The flop came 6, 7 and J rainbow. I gave raise of 3 big blinds, button, who had 4500 chips called and the small blind folded. The turn came a 2, we gave raise the value of the pot and the button moved all-in. I thought a lot, but as the pot did not give possibility to flush or sequence, I paid. The button showed J and Ace, then I thought I had won, but the river ace hit and miss.
In another situation, I was short (9 big blinds) from UTG + 1 and the big blind has opened all-in with 5 big stack of blinds UTG folded and I decided to KQs pay. The button called and showed pocket kings. The big blind had pocket J shaft 10 and the rim, K, A, 9 and 5, without the possibility of flush, or was eliminated.
This situation has occurred to me before and I realized that is not a good shove out of position unless you have a made hand. But would like to hear from you about situations like this.
By the way, in both cases the players were loose-aggressive
