If i have big stack my position CO BUT , i can steal vs small stacks with light range like KTo 98s, J9o
If i small stack only top 10% range hands...
If SB vs BB steal 80% range hands..

I go to an all inn with only aces or kings sometimes with ace king suited for blind stealing

So youre telling me on the bubble youre folding QQ JJ TT AQ AK off suit etc on the bubble??

you cash maybe 1 in 8 tournaments lets say, so you cannot be worried about making usually less than double your buy in on the bubble.

go for the win.

if is a satty and you have enough chips the answer is none, not even pocket aces!

if is a tourney then it will depend also in the buyin, if the BI is big compared with your standard BI then only AA against multiraisers, KK against one raiser or shover, QQ against one LAG, JJ or TT in MP or LP against limpers no raisers

AK only LP and against one player, if he doesnt cover my stack and better yet if he has a lot of fold against allin preflops,

other factors are stack size since a big size let me play more hands

I do this all the time. A pocket pair is only a pocket pair- Pocket Jacks especially. I personally play them like they're pocket twos, deep stacked or not.

You play jacks like twos...

I have literally no words for that comment.

Anyway, I'm shoving most of my normal shoves, because nits like the above will fold JJ and better on the bubble so it's a great time to accumulate chips.

Only one hand, AA.

KK would consider many factors position and no. of players, etc.

Seriously guys? You're folding QQ and sometimes KK?

Have you any idea how exploitable that is? You're throwing money away.

IMO the bubble is the time to take advantage of people tighting up their range and playing scared. So i play aggresive on the bubble. I don't really have a range it depends a lot on my position, stack and opponent.

depends who is at my table. I like to play aggressive though so I am doing lots of raising/shoving at this point. As yourgoodmate said, people are folding way too much at this point, excellent time to chip up if your on the lower end of the spectrum

The problem is you're not distinguishing from going all in and calling an all in. Shove light, call tight! I do think you have to be calling with QQ but I don't mind throwing JJ/AJ away if someone shoves on me. I'll shove all day with T8 though.

The only exception is a satellite situation where everyone gets paid the same. Then just tight, tight, tight.

bubble and really complicated, given that short stack if the chances of being eliminated are infinitely greater.

I'll push push push because nits are folding hands like 22-JJ and AQ and sometimes even AK and QQ. Have fun occasionally min-cashing fellas!

As to calling....I won't call a bubble push from a NIT with hardly anything...

But if it's a push from a LAG I still will call tight because there's easier spots to make chips but I'll probably call a LAG with JJ+ and AK (provided we both have comfortable stacks and neither of us are desperate).

story time.......

it's the end of day bubble from the 2014 wsop Monster Stack event. Mind you, it's not a money bubble, just a bag and tag and get a good night's sleep bubble. probably 30-40% of the field still remains.

NITS are not only just playing like NITS, but actually telling me their exact ranges. "I'll fold AK and AQ. I guess I'll have to call with KK or AA. God I hope I don't get Queens or Jacks!" and they're serious. I watched one old man with a short stack in his BB agonize over a button vs. blind push and he finally folded his AK face up! It's bad enough to fold it, but it's like 20x worse to SHOW it....Jesus now that we know you'll fold AK right there, do you think you'll ever get to see a flop again?

Anyways a different nitty old man finally pushed from his CO for like 8bbs. The big stack with like 150bbs called from his BB with T9s because he didn't give a rats ass about an 8bb shove. The Nit had pocket aces and got knocked out. WHY? because by not bothering to build a stack when he could, he failed to protect his future monster hand.

meanwhile, I'm raising their blinds with complete trash and complete impunity picking up 2-3 uncontested pots each orbit. I almost doubled up during this time without ever being all in...

So, ask yourself: Did I come here to play poker, or just watch the big boys and girls play? You can never win a tourney if you don't get in there and play some hands.

all in

If I am on the bubble I will only raise like 4=5 times the bb if I have aa kk qq ak aq any other hand I will limp but if your short stacked and have to go all in any way than I will shove with the above hands and go all in if i am called with AJ A10 or any suited ace pairs I will also go all in with 88 or 77

I will never lay out a premium hand mostly in the bubble either i'm playing in 10.000$ tournament entry.
If i want to go far in a tournament , i have to take advantage of all the weakness of players, so i will move all in-raise with 20-80% hands-range depending on position ( 20% early position -80% late one ), if my stack is too small , i will review players profile and make my decision.

whenever I bust-o it's honestly 75% on the bubble, or right before a break.

Too many players change their game on the bubble and get way too tight. Why would you play 3 hours and then change your game?
