In freerolls I often raise all in, just to see if I can win some good chips.
In tournements I raise all in only when the blind level is super fast and only when I'm knowing that the opponent has a worse hand and I have a good chance to win this pot. Otherwise I raise a little to get some bad hands out and look at the flop. Sometimes I only call just not to say I have a good hand and hide in the background. It's quite a different decision depending on many factors. What is it for a tournement, how far am I, how play the opponents....

Again this is a very situational .But i would come in with a raise and then re evaluate after the flop assuming i get any callers.

Following some threads on here I've held back on shoving to see if I can eek a bit more out if I have good pair. The jury is still out yet. In the low end games there's often someone willing to call an all in even if they have just 5's or something so it's often too good an opportunity to double up. To be honest I've only just started consciously paying attention to position and the implications etc.

Its good to go all in preflop when yu have a made hand , the problem is that when you have 3 callers you alwys get busted by by small conectors or so . Very seldomthat you win with 3 or more callers . Thats when luck kills skill. Ill keep on trying until i win that freeerole .

I've swung and missed so many times with AK, I don't like shoving preflop. Put in a strong raise and see what happens on the flop if you get any callers. Same thing with queens. Online people play such weak Aces, someone could call you with A9. Maybe that makes you think you should shove, but I wouldn't.

I do not feel this a good question to ask without more details. What has your image been like? What is your villains image? What is the tables image? The answer to your question can be only be best answered with more information. With some opponents it might be best to try to get all in preflop and with others it might not be.

These are raising hands. Almost never limp them. So, whether you are making your standard raise or an all in is completely stack size dependent relative to the blinds. Typically with an average stack early on I am raising and then re-evaluating on the flop. Later in the tourney when the blinds are higher I am either raising and then jamming most flops, or just raising all in preflop....of course depending on my stack size, table dynamics and my recent history. (If I have been jamming a lot of hands preflop and then I pick up one of these beauties, I'll jam it again hoping somebody will look me up. If I have been fold fold folding I'll raise it and jam almost any flop).

The object here is to make your bet big enough to get big aces to call you. You don't want to be running against the QT ilk. So the bet size needs to scare away spec hands, yet not scare big aces.

AKs is not a made hand.

QQ is a very good hand. AK suited can be a great hand such as a very bad hand. The flop will tell.
Both hands generally open raise or re-raise preflop and then see what happens. Depends on the time of the tournament and stacks.

With so little info in the OP, we have to speak in generalities. Against 2 big agro stacks, I'm gonna flat here and re-evaluate the flop. If those big stacks have NOT been agro, I would do a table standard raise or re-raise, whatever that has been.

My willingness factor is high in both cases...meaning I am willing to get it all in, but since I know that they probably know, I am going for chip accumulation rather than trying to close down a hand early. This can backfire, obviously, and it does seem to often.

With these hands, IMHO, position is much less important.

It depends what the action is before you play: is there a raise and a reraise? How have these players been playing up until now? How much do you have to pay to see a flop? Either of these hands you can be getting all the chips in pre if the action dictates it, if not then flatting or reraising are both good dependent on the opponents, folding is not great at all.

Play aggressively. QQ and AK are both monster hands.

I make my standard open. If there is a raise in front, AK suited is one of the few hands I will flat call with. Traps smaller aces and kings quite often. Most other hands I am raising or folding.

The simple answer would be to 3x it, and cbet most flops.
