Low buyin, large-field MTT. Yah.. play super tight in early levels. Play your big hands fast! (ie. you flop a set... flop has A or K.. for sure lead out.. & continue to valuetown it).
Cross fingers & hope to run good. (one member recently placed 9th in it I think... other than that I have no clue).

It plays like a turbo tbh, but its a cheesburger tourney in the end of the day. Play your big hands fast, take lots of flips and hope to lucksack your way to a playable stack in the mid-stages.

PLay the satty to the daily 90k

If you get a chance play the satty to the 90k daily. It has a field of forty thousand. And if ya can run deep there in that freeroll at stars. Then go for the 1/4. Good luck and keep us posted.

Yeah that was me that got 9th out of like 30k players for $1400. Good advice by Orifice. I had a terrible stack that time i final tabled as I remember stalling on the bubble hoping to win the sad payout of 13 bucks. Then I ran good where all my big pairs doubled me up but I still had less than 20bb which was ok. The blinds increase high when everyone is itm. Sux I got sucked out on with a bigger ace than villain for 9th but I was lucky to get there.

Early rounds - raise huge with big hands or reraise huge like 8x.

KO'd 9000, had QQ lost half my stack then had KK flopd quads won 90 chips, turned full house with AA won 180chips, no callers with a raise AKs, this was in the first 15 hands lol,
after that picked up some chips here and there, biggest stack 5200 from there blinds were eating away at me, all in with 33 for 7bb busted by AJ.
maybe next week

play super tight when you have a decent chip stack (35BB+) but it's really easy to get knocked out this one and do nothing wrong because the field is so large and the blinds increase quickly so the variants are higher.

Heh, I cashed in this today, pretty fun. Busted 4800th or something getting a bit steal happy :D Shoved something like Q5o in BvB for ~14bb(~5.5M) and the BB tanked, called me with Q9s and flopped a flush.

I ran pretty poorly for the most part...many of the chips I won came without a showdown. Didn't really get any monster hands pre-flop. Good, late position aggression and timely c-bets/flop raises/2 barrels kept me alive.
