Advice MTT bankroll challenge

Hey guys I have recently decided to do a $100-$10,000 MTT challenge.

I will be limiting myself to no more then 1% of my bankroll per buy in as well as takign advantage of the free rolls.

what advice would you guys have for someone embarking on something like this/information would you need to assist me in improving.

Bankroll management is perfect, dont change a thing - stick to it!

Id stay away from the freerolls unless they have some juice, not worth your time when you can be using your skill in real money games.

Stick to the levels your are comfortable with, time and time again I see stories of where someone went up in levels just because their roll allowed it, but they werent ready and didnt make necessary adjustments, and lost most of their roll. If you do get enough to go up a level study that next level a bit first, ask those who play those levels questions, and be prepared to adjust your game. Things change a lot once you hit the $200 NL/PLO games online (if you dont know thats $2 big blind x 100 blinds which you should be buying in for = $200) from the micro stakes.

LEARN LEARN LEARN - you can never stop learning this game, I have read some books over and over just to make sure I have the concepts I want to use understood perfectly. I suggest "Let There Be Range" which is a very expensive book, but I can get you a digital copy if you like. Though primarily for cash games online, some ideals are ok for tourneys. There are also tons of other good books out there.

Good luck. It can be done. My start in online was at a site called Pokertropolis way back before the boom, right about when partypoker got big. They gave new players $10 to start, with that I spent the next 5 years turning that $10 into just under $15k playing no higher than $200 PLO and $100 sngs at my peak near the end. It was a great supplement to my income, many free cruises and taxes paid for over those years My only mistake was taking it out periodically to buy stuff. Enjoy the ride, it will be fun and if you stick to the TRUTHS you will make it.
