Post your tournament achievments here!
What is the tournament with highest number of people you have participated in/participate often in?
In what place did you finish said tournament?
What is the largest amount of money you have ever won in a tournament?

For me, it would be a 10000 people tourney and the highest I ever gotten in it was 382nd.

As for money, I did not manage to get into it yet unless we count play money but I think that doesn't matter much. But if it does, I think it was about 12k.

My best Tournament ever (just PLAYMONEY :|) was a 2100 player tournament with 1k buyin. I finished 1st place.
This was my winning hand:
http://www.boomplayer.com/poker-hands/Boom/17791872_1AB3AD5300

I was (and still am) very new to poker and this was my first very big archievement.

Secondly I recently played a freeroll (Germans only) with 1700 players in it and the first ten places winning each 5€, 1st 10€.
Two times I wasn't bad, and eventually finished once 33th, wihich is quite acceptable and then 16th...
No money for me :)
But I'll do it again and win it!

Oh that is amazing! I struggle with beating the 45 sit and go's and here you are defeating 2100 other players. How long are you playing poker for? Where did you learn?

I haven't played for long. Started end of december 2015. Mostly learnt poker in playmoney games (or tournaments) online and watching some finale tables like wsop 2015.
Of course I watched for some tips on the internet too. A recomerendation for a beginner course is definetly this one:

After all I like math and logical thinking (so the mathematical side of poker). Perfect game for me :)
Learn how to bluff also very improved my game, as before I just fired random bet in there, so yeah... (also in the linked tutorial)

The largest tourney participant wise I have ever won was a 2,800 people in an $11 tournament on pokerstars. The most money I have ever won was $55 with 2,400 entrants on pokerstars where I won it for $19k . As you can guess I used to love pokerstars :) . Started out playing really small stakes too so it can be done by anyone if you study hard enough .

Largest tournament

I played in a live tournament with just over 220 people. Playing these kind of tournaments online is one thing, but live is another level. I play online tournaments with 800, 900 and more players but the amount of time to get through a field of 220 people live with 20 minute blinds is truly a marathon. I final tabled and went out in 5th for just shy of $5k.

Half an hour ago I finished a playmoney 5k buyin on the second place with an 78k payout.
I entered the final table with over 100% difference to the second one and the heads up started with very equal stacks.
But after half an hour I had a loosing streak and had to go all in with a suited one gapper after loosing a big pot. Even if I had won this I had to duble up two times to be in the game again.
Here is my loosing hand.

Back before PokerStars left the US I placed in the MIllion dollar Sunday game 3 times. It was a long time ago I think it was for 300, 800 and the best for 1700 bucks. Those would be the most number of players games.

I've placed in tournaments on Full Tilt and Ultimate Bet but for only 50 to 80. I did win another for 750 7th place finish on some backwater online I don't remember the name of.

Live games I'm a pretty consistent final tabler where we usually split the 10th through 1st place winnings. I've done that several times for around 400. We did have a 10000 buy in that I won a seat in satellite busted out around 15th for 1700.

My favorite memory of a tourney though was a satellite on PokerStars for the Million dollar Sunday game. I managed to get ahead early and had like 20 million in chips half way through, the nearest stacks were less than a million. I had the chips and applied the pressure all night if you were in a hand with me you were all in or folding. I didn't care if I lost I'd get it back, I had the chips and the suck outs were going my way. Ended the night with 1st place and the closest chip stack wasn't even half my stack. Made for a really great night... heh for me anyway. :)

My achievements are pretty simple and will pale in comparison to others...

Highest win $$$ - 16 player home game, $100 buy-in, took it down and won $1300 on the night ($1300 1st / $200 2nd / $100 3rd)

Highest win size - 130 person live tournament, winner got a trip to Toronto to compete for a shot at a World Series seat. Won the tournament and probably played my best poker in one night ever.
