Okay guys I've grinded like crazy with cash online and casinos... and now i'm back playing live tourneys as well now in the mix :)

In the past I had family issues, wife being sick... but she's fine and supports my poker and now we are very happy in every aspect in life and everythings showing. So now it's my time to shine here.

So this is my tournament log :) and let you all know how I went in a tournament, how many people etc. Pub tournies atm this will be. I may add some online tournaments in the mix at a later date and some Battle of the tournaments hopefully in the future week. But yeh i'm starting to feel my way with poker again and I feel it's time to become.

So to start things off March 13th of a field of 110 I got out 1st LOL yes FIRST... i'm not here to lie about things, haha but the best thing about the hand was also the worst thing. You say how? well...

AA and I 3bet this guy and he calls... the board comes out Q T 2... I raise the pot and he re-raises me... Now this sent me alarm bells and I thought I was beat but I called.

Turn comes out and well BOOM I shove. he thought I had trips but oh well it happens. So (A) I knew I was beat great. But bad I knew I was beat and shoved so not good :) and what was worse my wife played first tourney with me live and lasted much longer than me... Anyways haha boohoo but I see the funny side and moved on.

16th March I came 9th out of 88 ... Alright I played well, did some awesome steals... Almost made it to the final table with just stealing the blinds... I got unlucky.

Blinds were really high compared to the stack sizesl, everyone was quite short stacked because that's how some of these pub tournies run... But yeh I look at J7 on the small button and it all folds to me... I shove all in because I feel 1 opponent and I can double up.. My opponent could have ATC and won't be afraid to call.

So now we got J7 vs his J4.... Wow great result... board comes out JT2 ... YES!!!!! 9... and wait for it.... wait..... 4 !!!! ARGHHHHH ! :)

But 9th spot still an improvement.

18th March I came 5th made final table... Played on final table for an hour and played aggressive. I made sure I was a force to recon with and made ppl fear to play against me!... I Was playing to win and not afraid to lose.

1 hand I did lose half my stack.... SB vs BB ... I had 800k and the blinds were 50k - 100k.... folds to me and I look at J9s... BOOOM! great hand to make a move well I think it is, you can all add feedback with this hand because it's a hand I don't normally play like this but just recently added to my selection. So yeah BOOM ALLIN! get called with TTs from BB ... he holds oh well :) I think it should've been an easy steal but unlucky to run into PP's.

Same guy shoves all in a few hands later for 800k ... another goes allin for 150k... And I call with AQs.

I been noticing the same guy who called with TTs has a really wide shoving range from any position... so i'm calling, i'm not worried bout the other guy cause he's short stacked, so be it if he's got a great hand JJs+ but I know he's stronger than our main target.

I look at AQs and make the call..... our target has 33s and our shortstacker has TT.... well not too bad but we need help..

We miss the board and the tens triple up... arrgh! not upset though cuz I played great I think... anyways Friday night is my next tourney :) ... anyone think AQs is a fold?

To be honest I usually like to fold the AQ with 2 allins before me, but with the SS being one of them and shoving maniac being the other all in.. I think you gotta like ur chances, but if SS is holding AK or Ax than ur almost always losing 2 the maniac.. 33 vs AQ is about even so u made the right play here... Was in similar situation with J7suited, on the button raised to 24000 think i had 100000 lol sb shoved thought about it for a sec and layed it down... He ended up showing KK so i sighed in relief

Yeah nothing worse when you put chips in the pot to just give it up... makes you feel dirty, if your not paying attention to the table dynamics it can be towards midway through the 3/4 mark of the tournament. Not so bad min raising on a calling table :) but when ppl start shove/folding yeh gotta adapt.

The only reason I wanted to call with AQ though was I had 600k... there was 800k stack in with 200k stack REMEMBER short stack so it wasn't that exciting... I could've folded and hoped the short stack got eliminated but I thought winning around 1.5mil giving me chip leader is the right gambling choice. Took a risk of tournament life to be well positioned to win the tournament. I Don't want 2nd 3rd 4th... I only want 1st! :) sucky top 3 only got paid though but I felt happy leaving knowing I did my best.

Alright so Friday night I came 30th... nothing special there I kinda got creative with 94s hit the 9... was hoping the guy had AK but he had JJ lol.

Anyways tonight Monday 16th... I failed again but it was an interesting spot this hand. let me know if you got any input...

MP: 52k

CO: 48K (me) Kh8h

BB: 78k

blinds are 1-2k

MP limps 4k... I decide to go 12k. BB calls and MP calls.

board goes Ah 3h 3s

MP checks.. I bet 8k.. BB.. Re-raises 16k and then MP shoves all-in.

I look at Kh8h and think its a good spot to gamble.. I shove all-in and BB folds.

A3 villain has ... and i'm drawing real thin with turn and river pairing either 8 and k... so quick all over hah :(

This guy trapped... I will remember this guy for next time... anyways was an interesting spot. I felt he could've done this with a 3 or a strong A tho he didn't raise preflop so strong Ace was hard. I thought he had a 3

23rd March came 9th..

Was a passive night for me, table full of maniacs, so I normally tighten up and either let them knock each other out or hope to wakeup with a monster.

Stole some hands inbetween and gradually went through to 2 tables left.. 70 ppl started the tourney.

Anyways 2 questionable hands I guess.

A3off on the button.. it folded to me and the blinds were 10k 20k and I had 100k is this an auto shove? even tho the guy next to me shoved when I folded and bb folded A5 ... I learnt that SB had a K but not sure but I guess I was infront so damn! should've.

A bit later that night I was BB blinds were 20k-40k everyone folds to C/O who shoves all in with 120k .. I had her covered with 20k left over though and I had pocket 2's... DO you think I should've called?

So roughly my form atm is 9th 5th miss 9th

Just remember this is pub poker the blinds raise awfully fast ... its crazy, I need to learn to steal more hands and bluff a bit more. And get bigger stacks

A3o, yes I'd shove there

22, don't think I'd be calling. I'd rather shove with 22 than call off with it. But with both of you having less than 8 BB any PP in this spot is probably an auto-call.

Missed out this tourney Friday 27th March :( prolly 35th

KQoff crippled me.. I had 65k blinds were 2k-4k ....

2 limpers and I raise to 12k on CO. Btn goes all-in with 24k and the other guy flat calls and I call. villain has 75k

we miss the flop... turn and river and the guy allin triples up.

The other guy loses nothing to me with QJ... Not much could do, I doubt he was calling anything... perhaps I could've shoved flop I think it was a good spot to shove since SPR would've been correct.

Watching some Gripsed.com videos with late stage tournaments.

Also mixing it up playing cash tables inbetween days and watching blackrain79 videos which some of his earlier stuff is quite useful.. recommend it.

Alright I came around 40th or something out of 110 ...

blinds are 5k-10k

Villain in the SB has 130k

I'm in MP with KTs diamonds. 105k

It all folds to me and I open up 30k.

Everyone else folds and the villain calls.

board comes T 9 2 rainbow.

Villain checks.

I shove.

Villain instant calls so quick and I don't even need to look the think FFS!

Only thing exciting on the turn I got a flush draw but this ladies T9 hand held up.... T9!!!!!!

Next time I think I have to shove KTs :(
