Playing a 15,000 starting stack 15min blind online MTT...in 3rd level (blinds 30/60) we get AA:

Hero UTG+2 with AdAs (stack size around 19K)

Folds to Hero, raises to 330

UTG+5 calls 330
SB calls 330

Flop: 8c6d5d

SB checks

Hero bets 1050

UTG+5 calls

SB calls

Turn is 5s

Board on Turn is now: 8c6d5d5s

Hero bets 3400

UTG+5 folds

SB thinks for about 20 seconds then goes all in with 16,370 which would leave Hero with about 2200 chips if we call and lose...

Hero EZ Call or EZ Fold?

easy fold, all you have is a pair, and no info on villan. Is he acting weak? or acting strong? since it's online you are in double jeopardy meaning you cant see villan and they are ten times more likely to shove; because he is bored or doing better in a different MTT they are playing at the same time etc. things you dont have to worry about live.

Thas EZ fold. Ur pair aces is no good and if you win you get useless chips but if you lose you lose tournament effectively.Only nuts for your stack in this type of situation.

Easy fold because if he has what he is representing, you are drawing dead. It is so early in the deepstack that I never call there.

Thanks all! It was super early so I did sigh fold but I believe was reasonable for villain to have a set or boat. I don't play many deep stack tourneys so have been struggling with this tourney which I satellited into.

It seems that the villain has a ladder, because of the size of the pile of chips you have to go allin 'because you can make full 555AA there is no other.
You already have a lot at risk and you should not throw away your chips.
I do not think the villain is bluffing.

I'm folding here. It's too early to be risking that many chips and this is a multiway pot on a wet board which has now paired on the turn. Fold.

It's a fold unless you had a good reason to think he would bluff this spot often. It's sometimes hard to throw away the rockets tho, good fold I say.

Pretty easy fold. This hand is exactly why big over pairs are so hard to play.

It can be very difficult to figure out where you are at.

If it was later in the tournament where the blinds are big I think your hand stands up a bit better. When the blinds are small and I only have to call 300 of my 15k stack people will call with the phone book. I actually think you overplayed your hand a bit with the blinds being that small and the stacks so big. I would have liked to of seen 1/2 the size of the bets you made, trying to control the pot a bit more.

Hopefully you got away from it.

I am not really sure why this is an EASY fold?!
Would any of you shove on the turn with a boat, when UTG+2 has already raised pre-flop, on the flop and the turn? Just doesn't make any sense. Also, if the Villain has a straight it is extremely hard to shove there, because of the possible boats hero can have.
When I think about ranges in this situation, if I am villain, I am doing this with almost any 8 and pocket 77, also with any 7X of diamonds (SD and FD). On the other hand, I am never shoving as villain did with a boat or a straight. I don't think villain is really bluffing like, he has 23o but I do think he is, from his own point of view, trying to protect his medium holding against a hand like AK, or even TT+ that he has equity against in an all-in situation...

To my idea, AA is only meant to play one way and that is all in preflop. If there wasn't a way to get it in preflop, there is a pretty good chance to get out drawn. I think your situation called for a fold.

very easy fold, that board is way too connected and with 2 callers you aren't looking to good going into the turn and still have plenty of equity so you should just control the pot size if anything you can make a case for calling a river bet but not for calling an allin under those circumstances.
