A/K - Luck or bad luck?

I think many of the players feel privileged when they leave with A - K in hand.
However, the dynamics of poker betray us several times, in many ways.
I, for example, have come out with this hand countless times, but the times I have come to count on the fingers of one hand. It's not five times what I've won.
And you?
What's the biggest hand that gives you bad luck in the game?

A-K is a good hand. But it is Flop / Turn / River dependent (as all hands are)

So sometimes I can be suspicious of it; to a certain extent.

Pros are that you got Top Kickers, and if you generally touch some pairs K or A, you're in a good position. Also If your adversary has (no pocket pairs) & nothing on the flop, then you're probably good to go... (again Top Kickers)

In the other hand if he touches something as small as a Low pair, and you got nothing better to show off... then you're probably losing the pot.

So it depends; on the context (Flop..) and also how well you played that hand.

AK is easily overvalued by the majority of lower level players. It is a hand you should always try to lower the number of players getting involved because if you aren't dominating a player it is very unlikely you will win by getting an ace or a king most of the time. If you can get a read on your opponent you can still win with a continuation bet but if you are not willing to let it go you ARE going to get into trouble most of the time.

But what do you usually do when you leave with such a hand?
Do they set high for their opponents to run away, or do they risk losing their hands trying to extract chips from them?

AK are so good cards, better than about 90% other cards, but many players lose a lot after he miss the flop (because They can not slow down on the flop) as they continue invest a lot on flop hoping they will hit the turn or river.

AK is a good hand, but still it is not a ready hand, but it's easy to play it harder with the KJ hand, especially without a position.

I found out that AK is an overrated hand really , I used to jam a lot with this hand , and I still do it sometimes lol running against small pairs and big ones , and even A weak kicker and of course you can't hold

We call it Anna Kournikova (big tennis player) -- goodlooking but less winning.

AK is a good hand to get in the game, you can safely make the call if there was a raise, but we must be prepared to lose if we don't like the flop, our problem is that we greatly overestimate and can't lose and often find themselves placed in Allin before the flop

I must be one of the few players with A / K hand syndrome.
It's amazing how many times I've lost with these letters.
It just happened again ... is it because I'm all-in before I see the flop?
It is not possible for such a thing to happen so often with me.

Never go all-in with AK unless you're in late stage of tournament, in position, blinds are huge and you're on life-support...

With the infestation of fish in the tournaments, I don't even raise with AK preflop, u gonna get called, flop 7A2 get beaten with two pair 72 or something crazy like that.

I find it's a great hand for me in live games where opponents know how to play properly, I have won over 90% of my AK shoves in live games because it's usually against one or two opponents. Online in games where opponents will call with anything out ends up becoming a 4+ way all in and even crap like 2,7 will win.

AK is best pre-flop against one opponent

It's a great hand but vulnerable of course. I'm happy to be all in with AK against one opponent in a micro shove fest tourney. Right now the hand that is busting me up is QQ, I've been eliminated about 3 times lately with that all in pre flop and always had best hand pre flop so there you go. Once A6 flopped a straight with a 6, another time A10 hit A on the river.... Blah blah Sad Story.

A Q. Seems that I lose more than I win with these two cards....
