A conundrum; what to do, what to do
Ok, I did it. I won a $75 tourney ticket on tilt. I now am faced with a huge problem and need some advice. I usually play either 27 or 90 person SnG's on stars but just had some ftp sitting in an empty account on tilt so I used them and won. The only SnG's that pay money at tilt are 45 man. The rest are for tickets into bigger tournaments. They have some MTT's (scheduled) that pay tickets and some that have cash prizes. I want to play for cash whatever I do but can't decide which way to turn. Stick with what I know well (and am successful at) or step into the higher variance realm for the bigger payout? The overlay on the MTT's is HUGE. I saw one tournament that was a deep stack with $40,000 guaranteed with 10k going to 1st and only 398 people registered. They payed a much higher percentage of the field than a Sng and the lowest prize was identical at $120. 1st for the 45 SnG is $1100ish. The other option is a knock out with $15 for each casualty. This is, if not guaranteed, very nearly guaranteed money with the additional benefit of a higher payout than the SnG. Help. Please.
