Hello,

i want to learn more about the early game of 9max turbo sngs.

Espacially about opening ranges in the early limits. For Example:

Do you open with Q10o, J10o, 109s and stuff from the cutoff or UTG+4 when the blinds are 30/15 4 ante (a stage where u have basically just a little information about the opponent)?
By opening i feel i make myself very exploitable and put myself sometimes in a weak spot.

Pls write your thoughts on that and pls add your ROI, buyin-limit, and sample size to your comment.

Thanks

I agree with SnG learn, but you also need to take into account the flow of the first few hands. Pay attention to how many hands your opponents are playing, and if they're very tight, being aggressive will be profitable, whereas if they're opening or flatting a lot, you might need to tighten up your range so that you can punish them for playing too many hands. Good luck!

range above seems ok to a touch loose. but it's all dependant on what your games run like, how often on average players tend to defend/call etc. in lower limits typically you will want to slightly tighten ranges as you have much more equity to be made in the later game, conversely in higher limits you really need to be pushing to make equity in all areas, so loosening ranges slightly.

Like everything though, you don't just want to strictly follow a set of ranges, they are just a baseline to help you make less mistakes. There are times where you really want to tighten up, or loosen up depending on what the table is doing.
