Hey,

I was playing the 3.5$ sng on pokerstars and had a pretty high roi. Now i jumped to the 7$ sngs and I'm about break-even after 30 games. I know, 30 games is nothing, but does anyone has any tips for this level? I have the feeling, that there are a lot more regulars in comparison to the 3.5sngs.

just start by playing only two tables, order to adapt to the new limit, will be easier to observe your opponents as they play.

in general.... the $7 games will have more regs, and in general the style of play is very loose/spewy. So you might find playing aggressive back at these players isn't the best way to go about it. So inducing more, bluff catching more are both really important moves to have to take advantage of these hyper aggressive players.

but for the most part, just play your normal game and make adjustments you feel are neccessary. playing less table is a good idea as mentioned above

What you may want to do is to single table for the next 10 games or so. The reason for that is you want to do a player search on the other 5 (or 8 if you are playing full ring) players and see if they are:

1. Multi-tabling
2. Playing higher stakes (either cash, MTT or S&G)

If they are doing one or both of these things, then they are definitely regs that are likely going to be tougher competition than what you will find at the lower stakes. Then, research them online and see how their ROI is. Make notes on these players so that you have a sense of who they are. Maybe even see if you can find out their real names, as they could be live pro's that also grind online.

From there you will have accumulated enough information on them so that you're not flying in blind against them.
