Hello everyone,

This is my first post and topic at the same time ;-)
And my view on the 5050 version from pokerstars.

I think it sucks. Yesterday i played 40 micro fifty50s and won 32 of them.
Well i was  after checking my bankroll. With a double or nothing my bankroll would be getting a boost. This wasnt the first time...

I think that 5050's are a wast of time. Because you need to have a good chipstack to compensate your lost games and to make profit!!! Its a just a waste of time to play for perhaps 50 cents extra in a 1.50 game with the change of loosing 1.50

Yes you can make 4 dollars but in MTT i just wanne have the 1.50 extra and no 50 cents for example. This counts ofcourse for all the games.

Well this was my view on it. I don't know what you think about it.
I'm gonne play again at partypoker or 888poker DD with profit. :D

I would recommend 888 poker for the double or nothings over 50/50's unless yu are a very good bubble player then 50/50s may be for you.

I just read your post and it's inspired me to do something similar. I'm going to play a bunch of 50-50 Sit&Go's and I'll keep a tabulation of results in here. To be consistent, I am going to play the following format exclusively:

No-Limit Hold'em
Non-Turbo
$1.50 buy-in.

I'm not a real big fan of the turbo ones because the variance is higher and there's less time and room to play and build a decent stack.

So far, I played 2 of them tonight, and here are the results:

Game #1: Cashed for $2.29
Profit: $0.79

Game #2: Cashed for $2.60
Profit: $1.10

I know it will be a very slow climb but the goal is that once I get to $100, I'm going to start playing the $3.50 buy-ins. At my present roll, the $1.50's are very comfortable for me and I like my chances to be profitable playing these. I got my start from cashing on the Monday Cardschat freeroll for $6.50, and aside from playing these Sit&Go's, I've been playing 1/2 cent Zoom and have been able to book some modest gains there.
