Hey cc members, i have been playing 1500 starting chips heads up{my fav} at many popular poker sites and been doing ok...
But i find it very difficult to play in games having 500 starting chips...
Tried 3 games, and lost all 3...
Can any one pls tell me wat important adjustments are needed in this game compared to 1500 chips one???

the values of your starting hands get pushed up a notch due to the fact you have less chips. that's the only thing i see different.

they are much more of a crapshoot. you should expect more pf all in's, or shoved flops. as always, you should be in control of the action,

Like Ace said. I'm a decent heads up poker. I play crazy loose pre flop raising almost everytime im in position. You cant do this playing for 300 or 500 starting stack. I've played in a bunch of the 300 chip ones on full tilt, I was running bad and just got spanked. I mean losing 60/40s about 80 pecent of time. If your running good, you'll win money quicker, and if your running bad you'll lose money quicker. So Just stay patient and stick with what works.

IMHO...

Why would you take poker, a game of skill, and turn it into a gambling event?

Sure, you can win, but why risk it if you are successful at the same limit full stacked?
