Well I never really understood how these work out (I understand basics of them), half the field gets paid+.11 cents for every 100 chips (Other then this I don't understand the proper ways to play them)...
So my questions are as follows is there a specific way to actually play these? Should I just aim to make 5th place and be happy with that? Should I fold winning hands on the bubble because (I believe to be ahead of say such and such players range of cards)? Should I think differently over all about these types of games/proceed/play them differently then other SNGs?
This hand that I'm about to post is the reason for asking the question in regards to how to actually proceed to play in these types of games...So I want to know exactly what to do in these types of cases for future games (Should they come up)...I thought about making the call and then I asked myself was it correct in hindsight but (When thinking back about it), it didn't make sense as to why I would've called since half the field get paid, 1 more player needed to go out, but because there was this very short stacked player (and I was sitting comfortably in 2nd, it didn't make sense for me to make the call over all, and thus I'm confused as to what to do)
Should I have called and seen it, should I just fold in these types of cases with this hand sitting in this spot with 1 player left to go till the money?
