I personally feel this is quite a loose shove so deep in the tournament. There are many hands that would have more equity preflop and postflop besides a gutshot. Being covered by the villain, I would most likely check back that flop given the fact he has such a high number for the VPIP and could have easily hit the flop by limping into the pot. No wouldn't be shoving here your 5:1 to hit a straight add in hitting an 8 your at about 3.5:1 and you could be up against pocket pairs, flush draws and a higher gutshot straight. Add on the fact that its a bounty tourney and your more likely to get called especially when your so short would leave me to check the flop and re evaluate on the turn

Shove is correct. You are still having fold equity and even if you get called, you are still having outs.
