Playing a very soft home game, blinds are 1/2 everyone starts with 50 chips in their stack. We are playing 5 handed, and hero is in the BB with 42o and we get 4 limpers to the flop. Flop comes 432 rainbow and hero decides to lead out for 7 chips into a pot of 8 to try and charge the draws in a game where people will chase gutshots, OESD, and overcards. UTG decides to flat and UTG +1 goes all-in. action folds to hero. What do you do in this spot?
(sorry for formatting)
Thinking: Obviously in a limped pot villain could easily have flopped a straight or a set, but he is also very capable of bluffing. Keep in mind the players really have no idea what they are doing and could be shoving random top pairs or small over-pairs.

this is where knowing how UTG & UTG+1 have played small-mid pairs before PRF.
limping A5 is possible & i think is the hand that you might get played into.
22-55 would get atleast a min raise (IMHO).
if you say they don't know what they are playng I wuld say call. Sure you would get run over A5 or a set here and there but most likely you are up agains either some wierd dro hand lik 58s or a big slow played good hand AT+

In this particular game I call because I am likely holding the best hand. In a "real" game I would grudgingly fold and would be curious to see what I was up against but also I would remind myself I was sucked into this hand and can fold without too much effort.

re: Poker & 42o in a limped pot
think i would fold here-even in a home game you have to respect a allin raise like that -i agree you might be up against a set or str8-yup alot of bluffing in home games but how many ppl would allin bluff even in a home game -unless he was dead drunk, then ide call

with these infos, this is a call imo..his shoving range has a lot of hands which are behind from our 2 pairs.. call him and Good Luck man!
