The .30+.05 main seat event qualifiers super turbo (and grinding them).
I have a sort of odd question. I played one of the .30+.05 super turbo main event seat qualifier satellites. They pay the top 30, 110 played. However late registration made it so by the time late registration is over only about 75 were there. I received very few good hands, but simply playing tight and going all in when I had a good hand. The tables tend to start stalling big time once they near the bubble as well. I didn't receive very many good hands AT ALL (AJo being my best hand).
My question though is seeing as it seems that with the generally poor play at these levels, mixed with the odds
already being roughly 2.5-1 do you think this would be a good tournament to grind out with my super small bankroll of $26 + a $1.10 tourney ticket.
I am paying $0.35 to enter and winning $1.04 or $1.05 (not sure if it rounds up or down). So if I have 2.5-1 odds and am being payed 3-1 that seems profitable. I know variance will be a bitch however it seems within my bankroll and the poor play at these levels would seem to give me an advantage.
Oh and the latest one to run had 60 people when it late registration ended. Please give me your thoughts.
