Hi there, tonight my partner and I are playing a bounty tourney 32 players 20 min blinds $20 to the prizepool, $20 bounty per player.

Any advice on strategy welcome, do you play tight early on or do you play every small pair/suited connectors to try to make big hands that can knock people out?

I will know most of the players, and have some clues on what they play like, its the whole bounty thing, I guess we should be looking to take people out as much as making the final table, or at least trying to get a couple of bountys before busto.

Like I said absolutely any thoughts/one liners anything welcome!

Have a great day

Roy

Eh well, thanks for nothing. I had 56 off and called in the big blind afer four min raise callers, I flopped the idiot end of the straight and moved all in against KK drawing dead after the turn. I stayed fairly tight and called an all in PF from A5c under the gun with AQ on the button from a very loose aggressive player. He got a flush on the river. I got my buyin back from bountys but was sad to lose this>68% hand when only 17 players left.

In a knockout i wont change my stragegy too much, just play your normal game and the knockouts will come. The only change i usually make is that ill call the shortstacks lighter, and tighten up my own shoving range a bit.
