I looked at my stats on poker tracker, And I have noticed that I have done much better playing the $6 than the $2 SNG's on FTP.

Sure, I play alot of $2 super turbos which is sometimes hit or miss, but I played a $2 and A $6 turbo at the same time, and I came in like 7th with the $2 turbo and placed 2nd in the $6 turbo which was the third time in a row that I cashed at that level.

After 83 $6 tourneys I am ahead $165

After 328 $2 tourneys I am behind $68

So I guess $2 turbos & super turbos are big leak and I need to quit registering for those tourneys. I am just wondering...WHY:confused:

Your just running better on 6$ Sngs and its varience. It won't always be like that your going to lose your money if you play stakes higher than you should. You should do the 100 buy in rule. 200$ = 2$ buy in
600$ = 6$ buy in
If your profiting with 2$ buy ins why does it matter your making money? If you keep playing 6$ buy-ins over your limits your going to have downswings eventually and run very unlucky. I have lost money countless times because I did not use bankroll management. Everyone has a little greed on them if your making money be happy. You'll move up soon. If you have 600$ then go ahead and play 6$ sngs.

you dont need to be this tight about bankroll management. for a tournament you could put up 2 or 3% of your roll without risking to much. It would take FOREVER to make $600 playing the $2 SNGs. I would play the $2's until you have $200 then take a shot at a couple $6's. if you win then your bankroll jumps and you can stay up there. but if you lose then you really havnt lost all that much and you can jump back down. If you do make it into the $6 regularly but you hit a back streak you have to move back down so as to not to put to much of a dent in your roll.
