Hello, is someone here on CC who has been playin regulary 180 players sit and goes 4.50$ buyin on stars??? if so please i need advice

*How big bankroll would u recomend there ?
*What is atteinable ROI there ?
*How many % of field are regulars there ?~
* How long is average duration of 1 tourney there?

i was before playin on smaller buyin tourneys 1$ and 1.50$ and (90 players, 45 players turbos) and when i said to friend i got 300 dollars there he started to laugh at me...

I had by the way after 1800 games 20% roi there 9-12 tabling ...

Thanks for your advice, PEnthagoron

I don't play them so a couple of questions I can't really give answer to, however in general terms you should have 100-200 buyins for mtt's, granted these at mtt-sng's but if you looking to grind the 180 mans exclusively I'd suggest a minimum of 125 buyins (would be more only they are regular speed) so your talking ~600$ br.

I have had 90 man regulars take 3+ hours so expect at least 4+ hours or more for the 180 man.

I have a feeling you will eventually run into lots of regs playing these games, but that is just a feeling that because they are reg speed and a decent buyin and I'm sure top prize returns that there are probably a number of people who grind them.

Congrats on the success so far, and for the friend who laughed at you for playing with 200-300 buyins how many times has he gone bust lol. I would suggest however that if you are apt at the 90 and 45 man games why not give the 3.5$ level a try as it should essentially run at around the same level with a larger return and 100bi should be ok as long as you drop back to the lower stakes if start to go on a downswing.

Good luck on your continued success. What is the payouts for the 4.5 180 man? Played a 2.5$ 180 man turbo recently and its 27 paid but 10-27 is only a whopping 16 pennies profit.

its over 220$ for first place (30%...) and 150~(20%) for second...
so i assume that very tight game is probably not very good there... maybe only on starting levels... as i see there are pretty much regulars on final tables but from start it's probably pretty fishy... that's why i am asking for someone who have been grindin these games...

Hi :)
The min cash offers you just above on money back and then the second cash is still relatively small.

primarily for us to make a good profit we want to be targetting final table even then only really thr top 4 or 5 spots pay out a worthy fee for the length of the tournament.
so in contrast we could probably earn more profit in 90 minutes 4 tabling an 18 man sit n go
on an average day if we time hour for hour profit would be more consistent at an 18man.

average tournament lasts around 3hr20 to 4 hours20
I would say you get your solid regs but their is alot of loose money up for grabs early on it tends to get pretty competitive around the cash bubble.

I honestly feel for the time you put in you can be left feeling unrewarded I remember on several occasions playing close to a perfect game and than getting coolered with aces after 3.30 in the top 2 places and ending up in 8th ir 9th
for that reason I only play limited 4.50s
if I fancy a long shot I much prefer the 3.50 rebuy or one of the big/hot
tournaments

The important thing is to have a bank that you can participate in about 22 tournaments to not affect your bank's good track cashed in tournaments or use.

I only played the 180 Hyper turbos which took an hour
Played 40 with 90% ROI totally unobtainable long term though more luck than judgement an alot more variance than the turbo and reg 180 mans
