Is there much difference between $11 and the $5 turbo or non turbo sng. I play the 5 and watched the 11 and haven't noticed much of a difference. I know there are a few players here who play the $11 and i was just wondering how you found them.

They are a little bit tougher. You will start to find more regs at that level. The worst is when the heavy grinders run bad and drop down to that level.

My experience is that the difference isn't that much.
Not even at the $33 level.
If the players know how to play it's the same. The only difference is, that the players at the higher stakes might be better to one or 2 aspects of the game. For example the bluff-part or reading part, when you are bluffing. :)

I hope that was just a bit useful :)

Regards!

Ive never played the 5.50, but I can tell you that the 11$ games are really soft. The "regs" are not very good.

I don't know what I prefer actually.
The turbos is more "easy" on the $11 buy-in level.
People have no clue on which hands to play when it's turbo, and they keep getting knocked out!
It's funny to watch! but it's a bummer when they get lucky against you and win.

I hate that!

That's funny. Yeah you'll see a lot of regs in the 11 and up games from my experience (which is admittedly limited). You play on FTP so I'm sure you'll encounter the regular crew. Is there a particular reason you are deciding to move up? This isn't a "huge" jump stakes wise though so you should be ok if you are fairing well on the $5 games.

I played thee $5.50 at PS did pretty good at them. Moved up to $10.80 and got my head handed to me. Didn't play a huge volume just 5 but i was overmatched. Tryied bluffing couldnt cause they would go all everytime. Maybe the read my agressive nature profile

That's very interesting. Have you tried adjusting your game? What do you mean by "bluffing"? They matched your aggression with aggression. The game dictates the type of player you must become to be successful. I see that you play on doyles, but have you been back to PS to try and recover or are you just going to play where your style works?? :D

I think the 5 dollar ones are harder. It seems like to me people play more cautiously.

I play 11 and 22 on PP and I find there are some better players then say a 6 but not a lot. It is not that hard of level to compete on. I use sharkscope HUB to have a general look at the players on the table. There are for the most part myself and maybe two other players in the positive money for sit and go most games. All that said sharkscope may not be allowed on the site you play on.

more money more aggresion, when people play at these levels, they play at these levels, your not gonna come up and scare them out of pots like you would a 2 dollar level, they are going to make you earn those pots. even if they have nothing you are still going to have to call them down with your middle pair

Really? Cause I am under the impression that people at 11$ are extremly passive.

I pay everywhere actually, Doyles, Carbon,FullTilt, Reefer.. I try to play singles/ double or nothings. My Brm dictates that i play $5 sit-n-go which I'm able to win at consistently. Every time i move up I lose. Guess i'm not ready for that level of competition yet. I have been very good at determining when to steal, when to bluff which I don't do as often as I could. I play a few ways, tight, loose , aggressive depends on the table.
No haven't been back to Pokerstars. Having deposit problems. They won't accept my cc. Have played few CC freerolls. Played decent but no cashes as yet. Will take one down soon I think.:D
