109 rebuy, chipleader, 20 man left
Ok, so I'm unexperienced in this.
I made some final tables in 55 $ events, won some 180 man SnG's, ran deep in some other events, but now...I'm confronted with being chipleader in a 109 rebuy tournament.
Imagine, 20 people left, we are in the money and my stack is about 280K, while average is about 120K.
BB is 3000 chips and everyone, litterally everyone is playing.
No scared money at the tables.
People are shoving light and calling light.
We are in a situation of playing to 19 regs/pros...and I mean real pros.
I have no stats but gosh....only f***ing good players.
How to play ??
I mean, I'm just a beginning moron and I didn't have an idea how to deal with this.
Know, I'm almost never playing just to move up.
I'm playing for the front end of a Finale Table.
Folding to place 12 and being blinded out is not in my dictionary.
If I'm with 20 left, I go for first, but how to play these guys ?
If I raise , they reraise, if I fold they will go over me in chips and I will be shortstacked after a while.
I know the question is kinda vague, but how to deal with a situation of being one of the leaders of the board with 15-20 players left, while the others don't mind to go to the rail ?
Waiting for monsters with the risk to fold to 10th-12th place or play agressive with the risk to suck out.
I really didn't know what to do and was acting like a rabbit in front of car...
