$100K Privilege Freerolls Rebuys

Can someone exlpain why people do rebuys in freerolls like $100K Privilege in pokerstars. What is the logic if the freeroll is held every day? I really don't understand the math of this players

I have often wondered the same thing. You have to move up something like 500 places to recover your 30 cent rebuy fee. They would be much better off just playing a min buyin tourney but they do sweeten the pot.
They probably just like to play an inexpensive game.

I personally have played thousands of these and never rebought even once because i think there is not enough value in rebuying in this particular tournament.

It is usually is a shovefest especially in the beginning. So many people shoving left and right. Only in later stages or after getting in the money more of post flop action takes place. I play it just for fun as unless you make the final table in this tournament which is where the real payout begins you are playing for peanuts and playing a large field of players !! :slug:

I had seen a donk do 20 rebuys on this one LOL.What a waste of bankroll.

If you're playing well and it was pure bad luck that you exited then why not rebuy. It's because these things are donk fests that they can be profitable. Although, I do have to admit that out of the hundreds of these I've played, I think I've rebought in 2 maybe 3 times. The thing with these is that the top prizes are quite big with lots and lots of fish in there

There is no value in the rebuy for those tournaments. Although I did take the addon of 2000 chips a couple of times when I felt like making an epic run lol!

Maybe they do it for fun, because 30 cent is almost nothing for some players.

I agree, ist too expensive, and the mincashes are so small.

If u lose all stack u can rebuy , but in this freeroll with this field, you dont have edge. I think people rebuy only for fun!!

I say let them rebuy, builds a bigger prizepool for those who don't and make deep runs.........the place I really don't get people rebuying in the freerolls is on 888 where the rebuy's don't even increase the prizepool because unlike the 100k priv where its 1kadded on 888 i guess the prizepool wouldn't increase until the rebuys valued above the freeroll amount.

But yeah in general I just lol when people rebuy in the freerolls as kinda defeats the purpose of playing a freeroll IMO, why not just play the 27c mtt on stars if you can afford to do rebuys for 30c in a freeroll........its just funny haha.

Donks or no donks, making the final table when the field is around 15,000 players is not easy!

I play this tournament all day but never rebuy, its damn

some people just have some money to burn, even if it's $.30 for fun
I wouldn't do it, and on freerolls would not re-buy, just not wort it

When I play on the winning network in their million dollar satty 100k satty and 50k satty.. I might rebuy depending because there is good value, but if u spend more than 90 cents then it is not worth it. I do understand the idea behind rebuying, but I can also see the reasons no to. It is a minefield.. I came on top 3 in the million dollar one at bcp then lost in the second one to the main event... to each his own...

I am wondering the same always when playing some of these.
As far as now I have never made a rebuy or add on here. It just doesnt make any sense. I would have consider it if it was 5 cent or something like that but not 30...

Isn't there a 3 rebuy maximum?

Don't get it either with that pay-out structure, especially not the late rebuys when you get like a 10bb for $.30, but atleast they add some value. I've played a few final tables, but' I've never rebought and never will.

Yup 3 rebuys, 1 add-on that's it!

the worst part is that they make the three rebuys and add investing 1.20 and 0.45 maybe end up charging lol

yes there where only 3 rebuy.Forgot about it totally LOL.Is been long time since i play this tourney.Too many donks.But still easy to min cash,if you got the patient,

Doing rebuys on freerolls is like kissing a hooker after her service is done,its just plain wrong.

No sense to make rebuys or addon
