Its much much easier to put in better volume on the zoom tables. I also find it easier on the eyes.

Players tend to play a much tighter game though.

You really need to be a winning player before you go near zoom tables. If you are even a slight loser, then you will lose quicker. Stick to the reg tables until you have a decent winrate then move over.

If you are not a winning player , in zoom poker will generate a lot more rake , and earn due to rake..
The strategy practically does not differ from the usual cash...

Yes Zoom is like Rush. I play the Bovada version. I think there is at least one more variant on the theme. Only the 6 max tables at Bovada run with a decent player pool. No one seems interested in full ring tables there. AFAIK there is no version on Merge or WPN.

In my version (Bovada) I can only join 2 tables at a time, but that is all I want to deal with anyway. I am almost a break even ring player. It is very close to break-even and as soon as I figure out what ****ing demon in me is the cause of that 'almost' thing, well.....you get the picture.

I spread a single full buy-in amongst those 2 tables. I stop if I lose that. This helps me start out cautious, and by the time I have built each table up to the equivalent to a full BI, I will have adjusted correctly and will be playing with their money.

A point I think I have found... if you are in the BB with junk, and decide to muck and move on to the next table it might be that everyone else at that table mucked and you won that hand. At Stars and FullTilt, you might see that you won that hand when at the new table your stack changes. I have not seen that at Bovada yet. It could be that in those cases any site could take advantage of a player and just pocket those pennies.

So I try to stay alert enough in those cases where I am the BB, and wait till I fast fold. Along those same lines I think it is fine to lower my opening hand bets when the hand is folded to me in the SB, as there is a significant chance that the BB has already left that table.
