So I tried out ZOOM yesterday for the first time. To me it seems like a great way to lose money and fast! How do you play this game? I was down 2bi at 2nl in an hour and thought to hell with this and went back to 5nl full ring and won my money back.

So what's the trick? How do you get a read on villain? How do you begin to build ranges? As soon as you fold, poof you're gone so you can't get a feeling for how villain plays. And how the hell do some of you play more than 1 table at a time!?!?! That's just insane! :D

use your HUD for basic reads, it's swingy because you're seeing a hell of a lot more hands that's why the variance seems insane but 2BI's is literally nothing, i've gone on 8BI+ downswings, generally ranges are really easy in zoom it's really quite tight barring the inevitable whales you come across at 2NL, 4bets OOP are usually QQ+ AK+ IP it's a pretty similar range probably 1010+ AQ+, these ranges i'm assigning are probably not entirely accurate but in my experience which is only 100k hands these have been my guidelines to follow, i'm currently 6 tabling zoom without much problem make sure you have all your betting buttons set up so you don't have to type in bet sizes and just click away:D it's a lot of fun, i get in 2,000 hands per hour usually for a 4.3bb/100 win rate.

NL2 Zoom is quite easy to beat. I usually play 4 table and can reach ~20-30bb/100 hands. Steal every hand at CO & BU, only call pocket pairs, only open with 22+/AQ+ in early/middle position. Be aggressive postflop. That's enough.

When i was playing nitty i was 6tabling too and all i could get was 1500hands/hour. How you make 2000? Maybe in fullring its possible when playing nitty , but definitely not at 6max.

Also helps to identify the regs. (players who are on there alot & are playing 3+ tables) & weaker players (obv), ie. ones who aren't topping up to 100bb's or buying in full, playing only 1 table, &/or playing from their phone.
My experience was > after playing awhile (& taking notes), you'll definitely observe some patterns of play by the regs. that you can easily exploit & there's always a ton of others who are payoff wizards.

Ya..... That might be my issue. I've only tried playing from my phone since I'm on my lunch break. So far I feel like a broken slot machine.
