I'm starting with a new approach to poker, building a bankroll from micro stakes.
What is better in your opinion for this purpose? Number of hands and observations ability should be the same..

like everything in poker, it depends on quite a few things....for instance have you got a hud...if you have then you might have problems with it catching up that you wouldnt get when multi-tabling....then theres the playstyles and stratagy...at zoom you need to play differently than at a regular table..not to mention the swings can be bigger at zoom...

i d say multitabling as there is better table dynamic, hard to get read on zoom tables (even if u use trackers) as people are playing differently when playing zoom and ur stats might not represent the style of playing at that present time

I'd played few hundreds zoom hands and you are right - the stats I've had are quite misleading. People which seems nits, tags start acting crazy like typical LAGs. And some Lag's suddenly imitates nit.

Zoom is awesome. Its not as nitty as it seems and if you get used to it, you can play easier without having to look everywhere on your screen.

there is alot of money that can be made in zoom.

My vote goes for zoom. Not to mention the insane volume you can put in playing zoom. 3k hands plus per day 2 tabling zoom.

I would say that the best thing to start your bankroll would you play mtt's tournaments are short and do not take so long! have buy-in cost! , The zoom would be like playing cash and is more difficult, you can do well but is much more complicated! Also arrisgas much! I would recommend you only zoom level up not to create a bankroll

I like the Zoom, but it still scares me sometimes. It makes people act for impulse often, and lose a lot of value in games that wont play. I like the Zoom is good but be careful when wanting to create a bankrool using Zoom.

I agree with the guys saying Zoom has high variance. I can be up or down ~20 BI in like a 90min-2hr session playing PLO Zoom(yea Zoom and Omaha for max variance) and blasted away my BR not being properly rolled for Zoom.
I think you probably need a higher BR cushion for Zoom than the standard 20BI for normal tables.
If you don't mind taking chances and want to build a BR fast though, go with Zoom. Just gotta be careful, which I wasn't sadly

Do whichever you enjoy more, or a mix (but not both at one time) depending on your mood at any given time. It's not as if either choice will automatically give you a meaningfully higher win rate. Indeed, one might well argue that you're likely to win more through the choice you enjoy more.
