Are you afraid of bluffing? Want to have some insight? One of my hobbies is to study behavioral economics which has some insights some of subject matter is available in this Wikipedia article.

I am not afraid of bluffing, I am just tired of my opponent always outdrawing me or raising over the top, therefore I am frustrated when I can't execute a bluffing tactic.

I only wish I were a little nervous about bluffing. It is about an even split on my bluffs working, but I will always do it for I feel it is an important part of the game. I beat a player yesterday after going all in with a 9 2 off. She said she outplayed me the whole game which made laugh. Because she had A Q against my 9 2 she thinks she is the better player. Tell that to Doyle Brunson or Daniel Negranu and I think they would laugh too!!! Being able to win with bad cards is a very important part of the game in my book!:D:D

Want to have some more insight related to your hobby and poker? It will cost you some money to check your undertanding of behavior economics and prospect theory using cards. Go to the casino or gather your friends for a poker game. And simply play without watching your cards till the showdown. Simulate it like you've seen the 2 cards dealt, but don't look at them at all. Bet/call/fold like you're playing a normal game, but never know your cards till the showdown. Other players must not know it.

It's like when people become blind they start using their other senses, expanding their mind.
Good Luck and don't bet too much if you'll take this advice, and ofc don't blame me for your losses. :damnmate:

Here I will answer by a Romanian quote: "My motto is like poker: it does not have to be good for you, but you have to play perfectly the hand you have."

depends on the bet and the importance of the game, but several times in the cash games I felt great fear because I could lose everything

Like someone said earlier I wish I was more afraid of bluffing.

Fortune favors the brave.

I'm not afraid ,it's easy when you're in position and everyone just checked ,you make a not too high bet and they fold.

It depends from your bankroll, if you have 100 buyins for the game you play should bluff when you are in good spot to win the hand
I'm not afraid to bluff when bankroll management allows me to be catched :)

u should be.. or not.. i think it depends on the opponent and the situation to be or not afraid ... but, it is not a good plan to constantly bluff all the rivals, you have to put small traps.

Bluffing is +EV when done in a manner where you're telling a believable story in a way that would make Oscar judges wanna give you a nod ;)

No, I am not afraid to bluff. In fact, I am guilty of bluffing to much. But, I have attempted to slow down my bluffing attempts... LOl.....

should not be playing if you are afraid to do anything associated with the game.

Don't bother to bluff morons. If villain seems to have an IQ above 100 and seems to pay attention, then you can pick and choose spots to bluff.

Anyone who has an issue bluffing on the river with no showdown value is going to have a serious issue with winning consistently over a long period of time.

Are you bluffing on heavily coordinated boards in which the range of your opponent is going to be pretty strong????

No, it's part of poker, without this it is impossible to win a lot of money
