What are everyone's stacks at the start of the hand?
What are the blinds?
This looks like a tournament - where are you in the tournament - early, bubble, etc?

I'm not the poker pro on here by any means but I see spots where you went wrong. The context of this hand would be required to really dissect it though.

So using that in this hand history I'm going to re-write this:

Stacks
UTG+2 - 260 (3.5BB)
BTN - Assumed higher than 1200ish
SB (HERO) - 1200ish (15BB)
Blinds were 40/80

Preflop: Hero is SB with K of spades K of diamonds
UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 raises to 260 and is all-in, 4 folds, BTN calls 260, Hero calls 220, BB folds

Right here, far away from the money and 15BB facing a raise, this has to be a push with KK. Flat calling with KK in this situation is just too cute IMO. KK should be in your three-bet for value range, and you don't have a stack that you can call pre-flop and then get stuck out of position on the flop...like you did.

Flop: (860) 9 of diamonds 3 of diamonds A of spades (3 players, 1 is all-in)
Hero checks, BTN bets 430, Hero calls 430.

This is the problem with KK - you're against an A and a flush draw, and your opponents range is just too wide I think to figure out where you are. Either way ahead or way behind. Calling the 430 commits over half your stack, so folding on the turn or river really isn't an option if you flat call. You also still have no clue if you're ahead or behind. I'd lean towards pushing all-in if you have a read, or actually debate folding here if you put them on an ace. At this point, you have to commit - all in or get out IMO.

Turn: (1,720) J of hearts (3 players, 1 is all-in)
Hero checks, BTN checks

River: (1,720) 4 of spades (3 players, 1 is all-in)
Hero checks, BTN checks

Assuming you get to this point again, my opinion, but when they slow down on the turn and the flush misses the river, noting that half your chips are still in the middle, I think you have to pile. Sure could be a trap but they also don't have a good read on your hand by calling as you have pre and post flop. Doubt they put you on KK so I could see if they had a weak ace you might be able to get them to fold with a push right now. Maybe they put you on the flush draw that missed, but a weak ace could fold here, say A6 or A7 suited.

Regardless, you have to three bet all-in pre-flop. Deeper stacks, position on the raiser, a read on their range are all things that would affect that decision, but me in that spot I'm piling all-in.

Curious what others think though.
