I have played poker for 40 years. I can never understand the difference in the rules at poker rooms. Some rooms will go to the 6th card to break a tie....this is not good...lost a lot that way.!!!!!

Why would you play poker at such a place?

If you've been going to this same place for 40 years then you've been losing money for 40 years.

Thats a strange rule... The owner must hate choppin' pots or something.. I don't think I would like that. That is a live room?

huh? that is strange. I've never heard of that. Guess those people don't like watching soccer either, or maybe they have gold star charts for their kids.

You should never mock a 60 yr old woman....she may decide that she doesn't like you!!!!!! ok..I've seen this happen at different sites, I can't remember which ones at the moment but here is what happens. There is a full house lets say turned up. Now that should be a split hand as far as I'm concerned...but I've seen it go to the person with the highest card in there hand...and that would be a 6th card...right?

that shouldn't be allowed. the only way the other person would win with "the higher card" would be if he/she has a bigger pocket pair than there is on the board. otherwise it should be a split.
