Why is it that .. when in a freeroll or a cash payout freeroll .. that alot of people .. go all in with crap or chase and chase and chase .. do they not care about actually learning the game and playing it right ?? nothing to me is more frustrating then ppl who have absolutely nothing and your sitting on a set .. table of 9 and there is the possibility of them hitting there flush draw but they chase it down to the river risking there stack .. but then catching it on the river.... i know for myself in a cash game i wouldn't do that odds are against me and i dont do it in freerolls... or online .. what are your thoughts ?

Most of them just gamble.
It's hard to practice poker in freerolls. You can do everything correctly but somebody else gets lucky.

You answered yourself. It's a freeroll , it costs nothing to enter so why they shouldn't gamble - maybe luck will be on their side, they'll win couple coin flips and win one of these freerolls ??

Well that is the difference between a good players and players who know nothing about the game and could care less about learning. As for me, I love everyone of those players I run across. They always have a few dollars to add to my stack. You may hear it a lot, but really the odds are for you, and at the end you will come out on top. Yep you will hear that many many times, and you may get sick of hearing it. I sure did, but I kept believing what I was told and no matter what I never gave up and quit playing for good. This is a fact, and I keep it in mind, and more than a few times it has helped me.We all have downswings but there are those who lose less than other during those times. It took me a long time to figure it out. I looked every where for a clear answer to the how and why to the problem. But one day I read a post that was about BRM. and that got me digging around for everything I could find on the subject. The short of it all is so simple, and I could hardly believe it would work. But if they say it works, it had to be true like other things I was told and it worked. Really though BRM is simple to use if you set a few rules to go by and don't go one day using it and don't the next day. Ok so I need to use an example so you can see what I'm getting at with a lot of wasted words. Using BRM makes you think about where the money is going out, and where it coming in. You will find out real quick if you don't know where you money is going to or where it is coming in the most, you are lost. These days, I let my BR determine what I can and what I can't play. Like if I have $100, and I go play a $25 buy in MTT and also open me a 50nl cash game and in 15 minutes I lose my $50 buy in, and this TILTS me bad, so in my anger I go stupid with the MTT too. Well just that quick I'm looking at the $25 I have left and wonder if there is any way I can use it to get all my money back. and I just can't play 2nl because that would take forever. So I think it best to put it all in at 25nl and surely I will have some good luck and it's faster that way doing some all ins and letting the table know I'm good and I'm going to show you all I'm in control of the whole table, and sometimes it's just a matter of an hour before that $25 is gone too. The simple thing about BRM is that you put your money in the right places and the amounts that don't take all you have if you do lose. When your BR goes up you have a few more options to pick from, but when you BR is going down you just put less and less out there to lose until the bad days pass. It's simple when you are in control of your money by doing what is the best for keeping you a BR at all times .That same $100 could have taken that player a long ways with it placed in the right spots and right amounts. $100 would let you play at 2nl or $1 MTT. All I can say and then I will stop, good BRM will take you further than any other thing about the game. It lets you see where you can afford to play, and it can even give you a piece of mind knowing you have a BR to lean back on, and good thoughts that tomorrow you can play for another day without the stress of how in the hell am I going to get some money to make a deposit, and this time maybe I should try $200 and surely I would do better because all that happened to start with was just some bad luck. And if not, this site has to be rigged, and there goes the start of nothing but negatives that will drag you down quick because you have lost focus on any and every thing you need to win. All it is now, is to believe all the bad comes your way because you are not and never will be a winner and nothing you can do will change that. That is really where you have to stop. Sorry you all for this long post, but things kept coming to mind and I just kept typing but it helps me remind myself it was only 2 years ago that I was confused and needed help bad. That was what I found here at CC. The answers I needed for all my questions was given freely and it was all made simple so I could understand. And then I took hook line and sinker and ran with it. and like they say, the rest is history.

Anthony, there's members who play regularly in the CC forum games who have been playing for YEARS & are active on the forum and yet they still play TERRIBLY!!!! ... guess what, This is a 'good thing'. You want them to play poorly. (think about that)
