From how you just described it then only one of you could possibly have a royal flush. But if the board itself ran out as a royal flush then you would split pot. Remember only 5 cards are ever used. No more and no less.

 impossible to both have a Royal Flush because the kings would be of different suits.
In holdem multiple players can have a royal flush only, if the 5 board cards make the royal flush.

You were faster than I was :)

Though, funny story, I have seen a hand with 2 players and indeed the board showed exactly the royal flush.
First player shoves and opponent.....folded
It's some years ago, but it's really true.....talking about a fish :D

assuming the 5th card on the board is a Q you both have a straight 10 to A so it's a split pot.

To both have a royal flus in live games, someone is cheating the other, kkkk.
In online, only a bug hand can bring a both royal flush for you two.

It's a split pot, both of you have an A-high str8

If you both have royal flush with those cards on the board, then you are playing on separate tables.... lol

I imagine that what you wanted to say was that the two made a real ladder and in that case it is a tie and therefore the boat should be dealt.

In this case, both players can not have a royal flush. If you consider cards without suits, then both players get a straight and the pot is divided between two players (split poth).

Not possible to have two Royal Flushes in the same pot. Kings will be of different suits.

In this case, anyone with the Royal Flush suit's K wins. You can not have two K's in the same card suit.

Neither opponent needs to use both cards in their hands. Whatever the biggest hand created from 5 of 7 cards determines what each has. In this case, your Ace was counterfeited, useless, because the ace high straight can be made with your hand and your opponents hand, split pot in this case.

Royal flush is AKQJT with the same suits(same color) ... so impossible that you win both.

Hmm... AKQJT suited = Royal, right? So between the board and hands i see two AKQ and one JT, who had the Royal and who had the nut straight.

It would help if you provided the suits of all cards involved. The only way for 2 people to have a royal flush is if the board was a royal.

Zorba is still a bit sensitive about that particular hand, prolly shouldn't bring it up.
