I have used every strategy under the sun in freerolls. Nothing works consistently. I do know I need to learn to be more patient and not lose focus. I have cashed in several on ACR and sports betting. Somedays I just play like a donk and go all in or get bored and donk. Sometimes I get lucky. One thing I am learning is a lot of people do bluff a lot and it's hard to tell when they are.
THe times I do play tight, I always end up close to itm and am short-stacked with bigger stacks bullying every hand. I wish there was one solid strategy to follow that works best. people talk about their strategies but how many of you cash in freerolls are on a regular basis?

In my opinion this is wrong to do.

People who play to regularly cash out never end up with the huge lead within the cash area to get first place.

In other words the top players who end up winning more profit overall are those who play a little suicidal near the bubble and while they cash less often they end up going further once at the end.

There is only one strategy always call all in on pocket pairs and good hand like AK , AQ, AJ
and rest you can just check and learn how to fold.

You have to pick the freerolls you should play.
For instance a freerool with a $10 prize pool with over 1k players is not worth at all.

We have the opportunity of playing the most worthwhile freerolls here at CC. Lesser amount of players + bigger prizes.

You can check the leaderboards to see who does really well in freerolls.

A problem with freerolls is that you get more players who play bingo from the start. It makes it harder to last longer and get close to the money.

If you are threatening to get into the multipot - AJ is also better to dump immediately. :D

Yeah thats diffrent situation.
Bydway in freerolls mostly in begning he ll never get chance to see much flops so better bulid your
Stack or kickd out.
Never call or chase on stupid hands.

Success in freerolls comes with study

Lots of free content out there (like here) to study and improve play. Have been told by some that freeroll practice is not worth it because the field is so bad and many are just playing bingo. Have cashed a bunch of $10 ARC freerolls. The talent at the last few tables is no joke. I think its fine practice and a great starting point to work the game. Play tight early mostly opening top 10% hands. You will find that soon won't get you action when you have the goods. So then you need to balance with some small pairs and suited connectors. Only use the bluff when you feel you got the right target that can fold and the correct story has been told. Make the big call and catch the bluffer when playing cards with positive ev or you junk connected well. Before you know it you will have free cash earned. Then work the micros like the .10+1 nightly at ACR. It kind of plays the same but rewards with a apx. $17 1st place. And so on... Good luck

Yes, as not cynical - play push or fold.

This is the simplest strategy of the game. More difficult - increase your range at the expense of hands like: :8c4::9c4: and :ad4::5d4:

I also started playing freerolls with shining eyes, but then understood that it would be very difficult to cash in the majority of them cause of their underestimation of players taking part in them (they don't loose anything shoving 27off and then the variance starts working sometimes showing a back to solid hands such as AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AK, AQ) that's why if u want to earn serious money and play with people who are on the same wave with u u should enter higher ranked tourneys with higher buy-inns.:) However there's always a chance of cashing in freerolls, why not to try your luck sometimes shoving 27of?:D

is a simple game i win itm money win often like 7-8 freerolls in last 10 days

some were smaller fields 90-100 winner take alls etc..

my advice is play position write notes on total morons and pick on them and play solid. Don't treat as a freeroll or any other tournament just make sure you get in and trust the process if you got notes guy shoves with 78 and you got aj and want to gamble call 100% is always the next event so you reload and do it again:)

It really depends on many different things. Not 1 Free-Roll Is the same as another. CC Free-Rolls differ than other Free-Rolls, for many reasons.

1) Smaller field size

2) Majority of the players are better than the average Free-Roller, and as such you play vs "Some-what thinking players to CC (Free-Roll Regs) to above average players and all the way up to excellent players.

3) The prizes are better than the average Free-Roll prize pool and as such makes the wins that much more worth It.

4) LB prizes+Quarterly prizes on top of the Free-Roll winnings makes the competition that much more fierce.

Now as to what strategy to apply In the games, that again Is "Depends". Since not all tables have the same players (Every game), you need to continually be adjusting to the table dynamics and as such some-times that means playing more of a "Pre-Flop station type of game" and at other times "More assertive/aggressive. It also depends on the "Blinds/Your cards/Your position/The villains In the hand/Their tendencies post-flop" and many, more factors.

Yet at the end of the day If you wish to cash on a regular basis, than you need to be "Studying more and staying ahead of the competition and a-little luck never hurt anybody;)

One key here is "What freerolls are you playing?"

It's not the same to play for example some Cardschat freeroll with less entries than playing a PokerSchoolOnline freeroll with 10,000 entries and only 90 places paid and only Final Table doing some "decent" money out of it.

So to see why people play like a donk or you get "bullied" that could be one thing to evaluate.
