Visa Netspend works for Bovada. Here is their website. https://www.netspend.com/
Go there and in the upper right, you will a link for "Locations". Search for the nearest Netspend retailer in your area. Go purchase the card for roughly $4-$5, load $20+ to the card (Bovada has a about a %5 fee for Visa deposits although your first deposit is waived) Netspend will charge you about $1 for the transaction so make sure you put that into consideration too.
Once you have purchased your card you will need to activate it. Now I tried to do it online and it prompted me to call the customer service number. It took me about 10 minutes to reach a customer service rep, but when i did he told me i needed to verify my credentials. I needed to take a picture, or scan, my valid government issued ID card and SS card and email or fax them this. They will give you some sort of tracking number and an email where you will send your information too.
It will take about 4-6 hours to get verified and they will give you a call. I didnt answer the call and had to call the customer service number back and had to go through about a 15 minute long activation.
I had a very stressful time trying to get my card activated here is the story here. http://www.cardschat.com/f54/very-aggravating-220395/
In the end it was worth it and i am now playing on Bovada :]
BTW, you will also need to send in a picture or a scanned copy of your government issued ID card to Bovada at firstname.lastname@example.org
before you can make a deposit. So might as well send that in as soon as you can. I am pretty sure that is the email, might want to double check. Bovadas customer service is top notch.
Gl and i hope you can hit the tables soon! sorry for the long read lol. Thought id give you a heads up on the process!
