The FT freerolls are crazy, ppl opening and bumping with ridiculous hands. The micro (cash) ring games don't seem much better, and have the added distraction of players swooping in, jamming a pot and disappearing. Aside from watching how to go broke playing disconnected hands, there doesn't seem much to be learned there.
The sanest games actually seem to be the larger buy-in Play Chip tourneys. The level of play at the PLO round of the nightly .10 7-game Forum tourney seems pretty high. Any other ideas about where a beginner can wet his beak in this game?
