Where are the .01/.02 games?

Just started playing, and have been reading some choice books (Harrington on Hold'em to start), and I wanna start putting some of the lessons I'm learning into practice. Anyway, I got a Bovada account, but the cheapest games I found were .02/.05. So, since I want to use as little as possible to practice with, I was wondering which reputable sites have .01/.02 games. Am I right in thinking that playing in "play money" games would be a waste of time? Seems like everyone plays completely stupidly in those games

Also, are there sites with less fees for depositing than Bovada? Bovada has a 4.9% fee for depositing with a card. Are there fees for getting payouts too?

I'm assuming you're from the US because there would be no other reason to be playing at Bovada. Being in the US, you are extremely limited. I actually don't know of any US-able sites that have .01/.02 anymore, but Merge goes as low as .02/.04, so not much lower, but a tad.

Dareka- as far as I know American's don't even have the option to deposit by credit card on bovada. They will refund any fee if you use Money Transfer (western union) if you deposit $300 or more. So it's free to deposit $300 or more. You pay the fee to western union and they put the whole amount (principle + fee) in your account.

You can get one free cashout by check per month or pay $50 for an additional check or other method.

The .02/,05 tables arepretty soft give it a go if you can

Bovada aka bodog... when it was Bodog,,, us USA players could get one check per month without a fee. It was sent via FedEx... Haven't cashed out at Bovada yet, so not sure of their policy.

I've cashed out from bodog, and have a payment on the way from bovada. The check clears. One check per month for free.

And yes bovada definately accepts CC's. You can use a visa bank card, or a CC too I think.

2c5c is the cheapest stakes I would ever want to play. It's hard to even take that seriously because it is literally playing for pocket change. However, if you can grind consistant profits on Bovada playing 2c5c, it can add up quickly. All it takes is patience.

Surprisingly, I find that many of the players on the 2c5c tables are better than the players at the $1/$2 tables at the casinos and charity poker rooms.

My $0.02

They didn't always charge you to deposit but oh well. Payouts are great bovada has always been awesome with all my payouts. No charge on payouts unless you do more than once a month.

Merge has low limit tables. Hero is were i have been playing because they have sng omaha freerolls. Also Hero has micro heads up. FUN FUN FUN

Bovada also has micro HU matches. I play the $1.00 HU matches often to practice my game.

Bovada has 2-table HU matches also, winner takes all. I think these ones are $5 though.

I play at BetOnline poker and they have .01 / .02 tables. I personally like the site the only downside is they charge you a large amount to withdraw, but other than that its a good site.

I love playing at bovada there are many lose players at the higher $ sitngos and cash tables as well. I feel that many people may win a large sum from the sports betting and then try their luck at poker not having very much experience. So the chances that people at higher $ can be much worse than people starting out with skills or who may being rather tight when playing, to try in get a bankroll going
