You can limp if others limped before, you can limp in Heads Up too

In Heads up okay, but if i limp if other limped before i reduce my chance to win the pot. I limp only in SB with hands like 78 or 56, to flat my card if i pick a straight. But, thanks for answer. :)

I use limp a deep-stacked when
long not come good hands

It's a very smart situation to use the limp. When i am deep-stacked i raise with some marginal hands because i don't get good hands. I Will try to limp in this situations. Thanks :)

Nah don't do limping unless you're heads up and shallow.

I limped with pocket aces (level 1 /w no antes) UTG during a MTT recently. I only did it because I knew I was playing with a bunch of LAG tards that shove any two cards. Lo & behold someone shoved after me. So instantly snap called and triple / quadrupled up. Can't remember, but it was at least 3 others that had shoved after my limp in.

Now obviously if I was playing with a solid group of tight players I wouldn't limp, but again it depends on the table dynamics. If others will hang themselves, just trap them. If they're playing smart tight solid poker you gotta respectfully raise to keep the speculative hands out of the pot.

Whenever the situation calls for it. It all depends on the table dynamics, and what you're trying to accomplish by showing weakness preflop (limping).

Poker is a game of missing information. There's no way of knowing everything in poker. So the more info you can gather, the better chances you will have when making the best possible decision at hand. Since there's no definite answer in poker; no 100% right or wrong, it is inaccurate to say things such as: "I ALWAYS limp with pocket Aces" or "I NEVER limp from EP", etc. etc.

Whenever you see an Always or a Never in a sentence, such sentence is probably BS.

I always limp in tourneys if I can see the flop for almost free, especially early on. If the whole table is passive I normally raise to get some action .

Im a hyper HU player and i would say u cant say I just limp good hands or stuff like that. It depends on your opponent. I like limps to polarise. Because now the opponent have to react and if he is a bad player he will do mistakes.

Open limping is usually a no-no. If the blinds are super tiny and you don't care about losing the 20 chips to try and see a cheap flop and bink something I don't really have a huge problem with it, but know that there is a good chance you are raised and will then have to call or fold and that it is also not really a correct play.

Full disclosure: I almost never open limp.

Limping low suited connectors in multiway pot is pretty correct. - this type of hand has very good implicit odds.

so correct that everybody will know that you have medium connectors or low pocket pairs.

never limp, there is no good reason to do it. raising disguise the hand if your connectors hit

I limp a lot in ring games even with AK because it is a losing hand much of the time, but will raise with PPs in the right position and how many callers there are before me has a lot to do with how I play a hand. But in MTT I have learned the hard way not to limp with a good hand if I want to win the hand. I've been told here that even in early position with AA I should be all in.

Limp with pocket pairs and suited conectors, that's like rule.. But I like sometimes limp in with trash cards when I feel that situation is good for that, cause u can hit big if the price for limping is low, I don't recommend limping with trash cards when blinds are big, only if u got big stack.

But it all depends on situation at the table and your image.
I limped in with AA in UTG, cause I was sure that someone will raise from other position and I just went all in.. btw I was low stack at the tournament, that's why I played it like that..

I only limp UTG with pocket aces if I know someone is itching to shove after my limp. I pulled a hat trick when 3 others shoved after my limp and I took all their chips.

You can limp broadways, suited connectors and small pp when you are SB and there are limpers. You can also limp AA or KK when you have 8 bb or less

The limp is generally considered to be a weak-passive play typified by beginning poker players. Limps should be used when a player is first to enter the pot, then simply limps they are making a call of the big blind.

i disagree. 90% times you get raised, so what do you do, call again and play a hand out of position?

Then the flop is dealt, and most of the times will be a check/fold.

Limp should never be used, but if you really want, i would try just on the button.
