When should I make a cbet?

Do I have to take into account on the Flop?

Sure!! Nowadays poker is an agressive game so when you make a cbet you are playing agressive an obviously you want that your opponent bet all the chips in the table.

a continuation bat is good when you have great equity on the board with nuts and you obviously want to get him all it you overbet or take the slow route but either way i would recomment you have some sort of hand dont just bet on air unless you know your oppenent and kno he is a bluffable target as well as knowing you can hold up to the pressure and not give a tell

A continuation bet is a standard play on the flop and it's very often the right move (if you were the preflop aggressor). Place a c-bet when you have shown strength pre-flop and continue pressure your opponents. In my opinion a c-bet is great when you only facing one opponent and pretty good when facing two, but more than that I wouldn't recommend to c-bet unless you flopped good. I believe you'll profit from this play in the long run because many players will fold even though you don't have anything, but you would also want to vary your game so your opponents don't get a good read on you. C-bet sometime with nothing and sometimes with a great hand, and sometimes just check/call with your great hand. This will make your opponents to call with worse hands and fold better hands.

Your cbet % should be about 66%

half of that will be for value, half of it will be as a bluff

I think c bets work better in online games . In live, no limit ring games the regulars can be quite savvy , and often check good flops hoping to check raise or trap you . its also much easier to read strength thru visual clues and bet sizing so your mindless c bets may cost you .

Making c-bet by value is simpler than by bluffing. Overall, every time you make a good hand - for example, a top pair or better - you should go ahead and do the c-bet. The main reason for this is that when you have a strong hand, it is crucial to build the pot as much as you can to get the most value.

online poker professionals advise you to c-bet about 65% to 70% of the flops and the reason for this is that these bluffs have a high success rate. When raising preflop you are representing that you have a hand with high cards - Aces, Kings and Checkers especially - so flops that have one of these cards are perfect for bluffing.

I make a bet to continue in the 65-85%. But to answer your question clearly can not. It all depends on the situation. The position at the table, stack size, the strength of your hand on the flop, the behavior of competitors, your behavior before the hand, and so on - all of these factors contribute to a further decision.

Well , I have learned that if I don't cbet then I simply play bingo . I cbet when I have one or two villains max or if I have hit on flop sth good with more villains for value/for protsction . With one is far easier , especially in position , with two I proceed with caution . It depends on the villain how much I will c-bet bluff , the weaker the better . Now it's better semi bluff on draws if you go to hit sth on later streets . I cbet A K boards , on the turn I re evaluate . If he's a Tag player I might cbet dry low number flops .

It all depends on the strength of your hand and about making a bluff is to first analyze your opponents and detect any weakness or doubt about the game there to make a raise and chances are they will withdraw

I typically avoid c-betting in a situation where I have raised with a mid pair like 88 and get multiple callers, then see a flop like AKx where chances are good that somebody made at least one pair that beats me. I've noticed that a lot of players in the micros will limp-call pre-flop with weak Aces from any position.

If you open in LP with the same type of hand, the BB calls, and there is an Ace or King on the flop, I would almost always c-bet this unless the BB hasn't been defending much. If you do c-bet and a tight BB check-raises you, probably time to fold unless you have a set or better.

In most cases you shouldn't give up on the hand with one opponent just because there is an overcard on the flop, because that makes it less likely that your opponent flopped top pair and you can represent that even if you don't have it.

If you have an Ace and no one bets after the flop you should make a Cbet.

i try to be tricky but honestly believe should always continuation bet if possible. Meaning knowing hand have chips enough not too deeply into pot etc.. yet I try to be tricky so will play around with the betting range. Meaning basically might do non standard raise or bets to make them wonder wth im doing. So at times strong or weak will mix up the bet and bet low or higher then should to get a reaction. Now to do this you need chips and position. So no not at start of an event when your not hitting etc.. after youve been winning and they think you got aces every hand mix it up.

Yes, and have in mind that if you are playing with a lot of people in the hand it is not worth to C-bet, because someone may have hit a card and they can raise your C-bet easily, and there will be always someone with you, rarely you would get to make everybody fold their hands, but it also depends on the stage of the tournament, as it gets later it gets also easier.

what should we do when we bet flop & turn and the villain still call? Should we bet the river as well but its just risky. On the other hand, if you dont bet here you r showing weakness

its depend on your opponent, if you thinks he or she bluffable, yo can try to bluff, if not prepare to folding your hand and wait another round.

I go with 3-4 bb.Na flop bet do more and see how reacts apponent. If I do not have a pair, he made the call, then the turn or raise even higher (if I have a good stack) or just call. And look at the reaction of the opponent. Next on the circumstances.

I no longer like continuation bets. Only use them heads up or two other betters. Also like to be in good position. Finally it mostly depends on my read of the opponents compared to the nature of the flop.
