three people are playing holdem first goes all in the rest match him, then a side pot
is made third person wins with an ace-7 straight, so they get the side pot then
the first player shows their cards they to have a ace-7 straight now what happens?

If I'm understanding your post correctly, then the player who just won the side pot with his or her straight will split the main pot with the first player who went all in and is showing the same hand.

This.

But the way you wrote it is confusing since you say "the third player wins" and then suggest "1&2 split." I assume you meant "1&3" split.

I think he was saying a 7-card straight and that's why I asked.

Oh yeah and 1 more thing concerning this A-7 straight business. It actually could change the split in this hand. If the board is 3-7 and players 1 and 3 each have A2 all 3 players get their $$s returned and anything left (from blinds depending on who called the AI) gets split.

Hahaha who knows.

I don't think anyone knows now that the whole "A-7 straight" has come to attention.

If OP comes back & explains himself or says it was a typo, then maybe we'll have some good answers to give.

the hand was?

their was a four card straight on the table the ace was the final card that made the straight the seven didn't matter cause you use the best five cards so I was right, but my friend said I was wrong, so I wanted to see what my peers would say. I new I was right!
