If I've got say a pair of
88 to JJ
and the flop comes 5-3-2 for example, obviously theirs a straight draw out,

We've got a stack of around 7k and also 7k in the pot, against 2 other opponents, one has checked... we're next to act

do you push all in 3.5 k your remaining stack into the pot given your equity combined with fear equity, or do you slow play it risk an over pair coming out or a straight draw, etc or someone else bluffing leaving you with a head ache

The amount of times ''online'' I get called by bad players with a gutshot or an worse, and they hit s river or straight/trips is unreal

I'm adamant that most of these online sites work off bad beats for whatever reason so you cant beat the cards they will get you one way or another against your typical mathamatical odds

Any oppinions on this,
cheers

Firstly in that context "theirs" is incorrect.

Secondly, what did we do pre flop, thats kinda important.

Thirdly what reads do we have?

Fourthly "The amount of times ''online'' I get called by bad players with a gutshot or an worse, and they hit s river or straight/trips is unreal" This is the situation we want, getting called by worse hands. get it in good and you will win in the long term.

To answer the question, I dont actually do tourneys. but I would fill in the extra information I mentioned above and hopefully a tourney expert will assist.

i dont slowplay here. I decide on the flop if im in or out, If I think its the best hand, based on reads then I would just shove and hope. But dont listen to me, as Im a cash game reg.

Finally show me a player that agrees with this "I'm adamant that most of these online sites work off bad beats for whatever reason so you cant beat the cards they will get you one way or another against your typical mathamatical odds" and i will show you a losing player.

All losing players question the site, none question their ability.

If the pot is 7k and we have 7K left with two others in then the blinds have to be high - for example 500/1000 (no antes).

Assuming you raised preflop having 9200 chips (actually you should have shoved) to 2200 being UTG, UTG+1, MP or CO and got called by a later position player SB folded

and the BB called we have a pot of 500+3x2200=7100 chips leaving you with 7000.

As said you should have shoved preflop having less than 10 BB but since you didn't in your scenario you definately have to shove now.

Btw being "adamant" about something w/o any knowledge about the facts will catapult you to the rigtard section were you're going to laughed at all day really fast.

Get yourself a poker tracker and prove that any of them "works off bad beats" (if you know what that is) over more than 1M hands and I'll set up a 100$ charity tourney for all rigtards.

I shove the flop there. A good player won't call with a gut shot, only a donk would do that thinking they are best. It's such a draw heavy bored I would advise getting your chips in early

the more interesting question would be how to handle this sort of hand with 25+ BB since a few players can have sets or over pairs whilst not often its a significant threat and at what point do you lay the hand down?

if short stacked sometimes you need to gamble, inflection points alone argue this position.
