I think to win a freeroll the most important think is to spot a player who plays too many hands and be aggressive against them. You do not necessarily have to have premium hands, but position is very important. Try not to play them out of position and once you have taken them out time would have passed and alot of the idiots who you will find in freerolls will have gone.

Another thing to consider is that it can be difficult in freerolls because you tend to move tables alot , so patience is also very important. Gl with them anyway................:D:D:D

Tightly agressive, but freerols is a crazy poker game and some player's dicides are impossible for poker, so good luck to you and remember that 70 % of players in freerols are worse than you.The most beautiful freerolls are CC)

Shove any two when early blinds , to build a big stack. . When ITM I'm starting to play a more adequately , steal blinds , more 3bet if stack allows and less aggressive more to see postflop....

Play tight in a freeroll is a big mistake, it is necessary to build a big stack , when the blinds will increase that we must could calling short stacks when they shove with light range , we will have a very big advantage.... And not vice versa that we short stack and a big stack call our shove , and we bust out....

Tight play in a freeroll only nit players and so possible to play lot months with this strategy..

Just play tight aggressive.

There are times where you will encounter bad beat and bust out but mostly, you will be in the money.

solid tight play, a bit of bet size exploitation, lots of value bets, and the best way is to sit at a table full of sitters

About playing tight:
- be aware that you want to win, or at least FT, not just ITM
- be reasonably aggressive at beginning, your time is also worth something, even its freeroll
- be super aggressive near the bubble, that is the time to build the stack
- then you need to find a proper time to switch to normal tournament play. Its very different according freeroll.

There are different strategies. But I think the best way is to build a big stack at a very beggining, because usually it's kind of hard to play in the beginning in freerols since alot of players will go all-in with absolutely any hand. So you have to survive this phrase. Try to find the right player, the right spot for all-in

be patient be patient be patient and see a TON of flops
anytime you can limp in and catch someone do
it seriously 29 whatever. If you are catching
cards that is the more flops can see the better
i am honestly. Is against my nature to play
this style I throw out garbage hands generally
but on 2000 people freerolls? I try to get
as much information as can as often as can
meaning get into what pots I can.

I try not to mix it up with drunks and jokers
lol unless have super solid hand or know is
a buster guy is all in 4-5 hands I got aj?

well I might tire of them if would only lose say
half stack and try to force the issue.

That can be bad when they beat your aa
with 6-3 yes it happens:) You have the drunks
you have the flush chasers who risk entire
tournament you have the guy that all ins
you with 8-2 and flop ak8 and a two rivers

these things happen so short term memory
loss is a wonderful thing and second thing?
since is a freeroll? Is always more of them or
another lol so move on and go play again:)

So my target say bet online or full flush is 8k
first hour 20 k second hour and move to 60k
sometime after that. 3rd hours is where your
close to money so depending where you chip
stacked is how you continue to play when is blinds
of 3 k or whatever.

again a key is patience knowing when to make
moves trusting notes have taken hoping
cards hold up etc..

meaning that 3rd hour
but keep in mind blinding down is not terrible

last couple weeks won 6 bucks extra a few times
taking 4ths with totally dead cards when should not be anywhere near a final table lol

Freerolls are different.
There are freerolls with 10000 players, these are lottery,
and there are STT freerolls which is very easy to win, just be tight-aggressive.
Esp. in the beginning allow LAGs to kill each other and just wait.
I used to play such on 770 some time ago, when I started to build BR from zero.

Then, when you have enough to buy in smallest micro STT, play this.
It'll be little harder to win but not much.

I like to play tight until I hit a double up or two. Then i open up my range and try to see a lot of flops for cheap. If your cards hit then bet on and if not get out. No need to bluff as there will be many other spots to get your money in. Also it is a freeroll so people will call down your bluff without even thinking about it.

I think the secret to winning a freeroll is to pick the ones that don't have many players. If you play one freeroll with 20 players and $20 pot (equal to $1 contributed per player), this (IMHO) is much better than 2000 players with a $200 prize pot (i.e. only 10 cents contributed per player). Just on odds, you are going to win the 20 player freeroll once per 20 tries. If you play it 2000 times, you will win 100 times $20 = $2000. On the 2000 player freeroll, statistically you will need to play it 2000 times to win it once, and then only win $200.

tight aggressive until near the bubble, then keep an eye out for the guys who fold everything to try to get into the money and steal their blinds

you must first try to play tighter and go all only premium hands. not tedious to get involved in the game at all the chips with multiple opponents.

As a general rule, during the early stages, I simply jam or call jams with 99+ AJs+ and AQ+. Sometimes I'll tighten that up vs other deep stacks. Beyond that I'll set mine with 22-88 and call vs limpers with suited connectors and gappers and Jxs+. Of course i'll make adaptations depending on the villians, stack sizes and position. If I have a stack in the stages I apply a lot of pressure in late positions. Kind of similar to the end of a SNG strategy. Ultimately I have to say freerolls are a crap shoot. Good luck.

Much like Global Thermonuclear War, the only winning move is not to play.

lot of variance. Also hard to read opponents hands, stuff like jamming Q7o when everyone is deepstacked and the blinds are small.

Tighten up, be ready to play shove bingo preflop because you will likely have to. Near the money it starts acting like a normal tourney again, mostly.
