What's the one most important thing you learned about playing poker? Mainly tournaments
The most important things...
...that I have learned about playing Texas Holdem Poker is to ALWAYS have enough money to buy-in at table maximum in a ring game,.......
AND... only sit down when the chair on the right of the stupidest looking guy at the table...is open.
AND....then...every single time that guy has the BB, and you find it's only you and him in the hand....YOU RAISE HUGE!! 1/2 YOUR CHIP STACK!!!.......
BUT.... if goes allin...no matter what you have....FOLD FAST!!
No matter...what you have...Fold!!
You understand?
The guy that looks like he hasn't shaved in a week, but usually shaves at least once a week?
The that looks like Elmer Fudd from BugsBunny?
The old guy....with the weathered, tired, worn out, just don't give a hoot...look about him. That guy that just screams...VICTIM!!??
Sit on his right side, always.
And with a huge, huge stack of chips!
That's the most important thing I learned.
And it works in MTT's too....if you just happen to get randomly seated to the right of a guy like that...you're set!!
Just do what I told you I learned to do, and you'll learn heaps fast!! And be the better for it too!
NOW.....
that I've answered your question.
Allow me one or two?
What's your user name on BOL, and....wanna join a ring game with me?
I'll let you sit on my right.
:bebored:
#1 lesson I've learned.....folding anything preflop Ace Rag or better with little or no concern.....will make you feel like you're own hero ...A LOT!!!...in an MTT.
Hope to meet you at the tables...
I'll.........save a chair for you.
