When I started to learn how to play poker(on Zynga) I folded full house many times to a possible straight or a flush because I thought that a full house was weaker than those two.

Hay annajanci and welcome to Cardschat. I used to think all ins were the best play, and I can't count the times I got caught out there with 2nd best hands. Now I have found that a 3 or 4 bets are just as good to take the pot, but when you do get a big re-raise, you can get away from the hand if you feel you are beat. If you don't fold those 2nd best hands, you will lose a lot of money. GL to you

Too passive

Needed to 'grow a pair' and become more aggressive. Didn't realize that waiting for good cards was liking waiting to win the lottery.

Lack of patience, i played every hand out of any positions, i thought AK pre were the nuts :D but despite all that i was still making FT`s and kicking asss, but then i ran in to some good players in my country that handed my asss to me in this game, and then i decided to learn more about the game and to try to turn the tables around :D

my biggest fishood years back was my opening raises or at least my range-when i first started i would play any 2 from any position-i played 2-3 os like it was aces-nothing like hearing alot of byching after a 2-2-3 flop while i was playing 2-3 and koing someone-my range has gotten a lil better since 07 when i learned nlhe-

Not having a sense of what cards to play from what position, not being aggressive enough & allowing myself to go on tilt after a bad beat...

It is not so rare situation even now, when someone raise and i accidentally click on fold button with nuts! instead of re-raise, and it was not small pot. So yeah.. i broke couples of PC mouses. +

that sure is annoying when it happens, accidentally sat out a suited AJ today, with a flop that would have given me a flush  it was a big pot too...

The biggest mistake I had as a beginner was wanting to see every flop when I had a suited connector. It didn't matter if it was a big raise from a tight player, I just "had" to see a flop. Obviously you have to learn to read which player is doing the raising and adjust your gameplan accordingly

We all did beginners mistakes like calling every hand, goes all in with nothing etc etc. No one is born with poker knowledge. Besides that, I would say my biggest mistake was when I misclicked call button and went all in with nothing
