It will be a pleasure.

Many put poker as a simple card game, but, first of all, poker is a game of people.
Many do not know how to make a bet during the game, they do not create a logic of betting.
They do not know why they are betting or applying bluff.
The basic things a beginner needs to know.
In short, the logic of the game is all that involves a poker hand. If you do not know how to do these things, you would never win a tournament, even a freeroll. It will depend on 10000% luck. And in this case, even in the short term, it does not generate profits.

I hope I've managed to explain.

hi Diego,
Any amount of time you think is required for each of the steps?

On the suggestion to start playing earlier/later:
As my main goal is to enjoy the game, I might never reach 4, so I started playing at 1.5.
The learning curve will be longer, but I'm having fun playing, rather than studying.

You are right, but slightly exagerating, (the never/10000%).
I did make it several times to the final table in >2k player freeroll MTT, but that was with the right cards at the right moment.
But I did not read any book yet, although I probably should start.
For completeness: my results on average are still poor, even for freerolls. So I fully agree the chance of winning is very small (just not 0).

I would actually make playing free rolls number three. I think it is tough to get much out of a book without having some experience to apply the book to so you understand how to use and apply it. Just my opinion. I understand a case can be made for both approaches. Perhaps mixing the two is best.

The power of position.

This would of course come under the “Game Logic” section, but should get a special mention. Many beginners would not pay attention to, or understand the power of position when starting out.

ell, it's not exactly an order you need to follow.
But ideally you study every day if you want to be profitable or even a professional.

I do not know how much time you play each day. If you have created a routine and follow a stipulated time strictly.
An example:
If you only play Freeroll for a period of 6 hours, it is best to follow these post-independent order tips for 2 hours.

Now if you are playing some micro level, the ideal is to play 5 hours and study 3 hours or more.

Always daily.

That exporadically. Not exactly a must.

Sorry, if you play anyway, without a logic, you will be depending entirely on luck.
It could be right there at that moment. But it will never work in the long run.

I think that's a good suggestion.

Complementing, the ideal is to look specifically for something you are playing, example: Buy in $ 3.50 9 men Turbo.
That way you'll have more to learn.

Yes, but playing in position is a basic thing. Any beginner will hear this a lot in any video or article.
