I play tight & aggressive. It's a standard strategy for beginners, it helps me reach final tables or making good scores in elementary/high school pokerstars league and even win 45 players low stakes tournaments and STTs for $0.50.
Tight aggressive means I play tight weak hands, often fold and aggressive with strong hands, that is to avoid being beaten on the flop or later. In the late stage of the tournament I usually follow open push charts, but sometimes I wait for good cards to push even to 5BB, depending on the price pool etc..
This strategy is recommended for beginners and micro stakes tournaments/cash games.

It is often said that poker is easy to learn but complicated to master. Mastering any poker game is a fun and demanding goal. In the strategy section of poker, you will find many resources that will help you to become a winner of poker. The basic elements of a solid strategy in poker involve many concepts that you have to combine to become a winning and consistent player. The following concepts are crucial to learning poker strategy:
Be cautious
Be aggressive
Not be predictable
Take advantage of opponents' mistakes
Keep these concepts in mind as you become a poker player. These strategic concepts are like the colors of an artist's palette: the basic colors are the same, but the artist's use of them is unique and stylish.

I used to be aggressive players and it brought me no luck, now I play tight, I hope this strategy will bring me luck!

Hello recently I made a change in my strategy, which was to see more flops at the beginning of the tournament and I was for a few minutes I got 9500 chips and right after I change tables with players who had many more chips than I then my strategist changed me Played to be passive since the game of these rivals was too aggressive equaled high stakes only to go all in regardless of whether or not they had a good game, after seeing how they played I had to play passive and with few hands, in the end after Of 3 or 4 hands lost by this move call flop, all in turn. My advice is that if you get a good amount of chips and you play at a table with very aggressive players take your time and play with very strong cards. I hope you serve luck on the tables.

My main strategy at the initial stage of the tournament is to keep all of my chips for later stages, while taking chips from weaker players at the table.

You really need to figure out what works best for your personality. Everyone has different risk tolerance. It is really hard (if not impossible) to win a to tournament playing tight. That may have worked 10 years ago but not today. You simply are going to blind down, win small pots, and lose big pots.

You don't have to play LAG, but you need to at least be in the middle somewhere. Personally, I loosen up early when flops are cheap.

For 7-8 years I have tried all sorts of different tournaments. What kind of tournaments do you prefer?

I agree, this is a good tactic. In addition, it is quite simple to make a decision, which allows you to play several tables at the same time. ;)

I try and play the opposite of the table but generally tight aggressive to start with followed by a loosening once blinds go up.

I'm not very experienced.
I earlier played only satellites to MTT, but when I get to them I always lost and that was very bad for my small bankroll.
Currently I play mostly $0.25 SNGs and I make a little profit. Sometimes losing, cause of lack of concentration (too many tables) and I'm still learning, but overall I make profit on this and I think it could be much higher when I'll skill more.
I also play in the Pokerstars league.
Now I started playing fixed limit cash games on micro stakes, and it also gives me some extra cash.

My usual strategies when I play online is to be tight aggressive. I find that bluffing in online poker is not worth to do simply because too many players call any bet with no regard for their stack.

It is also bad in a way that bluffing is difficult to execute because there is going to be times where hands are not going to happen and chip stacks are going to be ate by blinds.

I usually stick to playing quality hands over quantity.

Wait till you got the nuts, then let your opponents hang themselves. If you don't get the nuts, then make due with second best.

Or just let "the force" guide you like me and other Jedi's.:alien::fight:

i like playing MTT, my strategy in early stage is tight agresif, but not riski your stake with shove all in, its too early. in midlle stage play more lose hope to collect chips for prepare to late stage. and in late stage play according to your chips stake, if you have a large stake, play more lose but avoid the opponent who have large stake too, attack opponent who have small stake especialy from the late position. see you at the table.

I play tight aggressive most of the time. I find that although I don't play many hands, when I do I win more often than not and the pots are of a decent size too.

I never played live, just online. And only free rolls, never entered a real money tournament. Early strategy? Go all in with any decent hand, and multiply my stack or bust and wait for the next free roll. At the cash table, I play micro stakes, and try to play tight and aggressive which is much easier said than done.

Looks depends on the tournament and the letters, to be aggressive, more i had a strategy of games in which a very player brings all-in preflop, out of position, and sometimes many acertavam, more ideá here is playing, of course you with AA will not run before the flop, more play in a regular fashion, at the start of a tournament I see who is the best way to win.

My view is only conservative, and of course depending on the table, change tactics periodically to aggressive, without this in any way.To get into the prizes in a good tournament should go head over, if you play correctly, if your aces interrupt 6-7 in such situations, it's hard to expect success, although AK and AA have folded in my favor more than once, but still with such hands go to Reraise, and if you go to the reraise then it's hard to fold the subsequent stages if the favorable table in your opinion

I play poker when I am in my mood for playing. I don't play poker when I don't want to because then I am sure that I will lose. I play for fun but I am trying to make some money. I am not very greedy and it helps me to be in plus. :)

The best strategy for the game is to regularly change your game style, the more often you do it, the unpredictable will be your game and your difficult will be read by the opponents. And most importantly - do not forget about the control of your bankroll, do not allow serious downstrikes, set a limit of loss, because black bars happens with everyone.

Mic and low tournaments advise not to try to bluff, players for being a cheap entry, and often do not understand what you are representing do not drop the pot even with weak pairs. So do not try to steal unless you have already collected information about the villains, take note because by playing the same purchase you can constantly hit the same player.
