I personally feel that the videos, forums and software is the most helpful.
Select few books can be good, fewer magazine articles.
Use forums like Cardschat, they can be worth their weight in gold as far as free valuable information and networking goes.
Videos and software really depends on what game you are playing and what level you are at. There are good free resources for most games (including free trials at many video sites), and I would recommend looking at PokerTracker 4 (there's a thread in the software forum here) to start you out right on software... it can do so many different things for you to help you analyze, log and improve your play.
